    Promoting nothing here but the Holy Ghost, you will find many living in persecuted nations don't have access to a Bible, how do they get the good news? Through the Holy Ghost. Reading the Bible is important but spending time with the Holy Spirit is way more important.

    If you are like my dad though you will find you do not need to read the Bible book after book, God will actually tell him and give him a scripture, chapter or a verse and he will look it up, and that's what the relationship with the Holy Spirit does, it's not through reading the Bible front to back 900 times.

    I didn't know anything about the bible prior to knowing Jesus in an intimate way through the power and revelation of the Holy Spirit. I think that God works where people are at because he knows who are his and he makes himself known in many ways including through his word...

    For an old bloke like me, there is no such thing as bonus holiday pay. I'm grateful for the benefits of the Seniors' Health Care Card. It gets me bulk billing at the doctor (saw him yesterday).

    On Monday my wife flies from Brisbane to Canberra to see our latest grand-daughter who is having her first birthday. It's a gift from our son and his wife.
