I am leaving for a trip to teh carolinas from New England Weds. 5/25 to visit two of our children for a week. Prayers for travelling mercies.

also we are in the midst of selling our home to move to South Carolina. pray we get the needed work done and God would grant us favor and we can get the asking price the realtor is putting it on the market for!

After raising 6 children and helping send 5 through college, it would be nice to downsize (we already have a fully furnished house waiting for us), and finally have some savings that is not designated for anything but the unknowsn!

God's speed and steady as she goes Ron. Praying for the sale of your home and getting to your new place of retirement in one piece.

You know and this is now not a conspiracy THEORY, they speak a different English- NE American language in those Carolinas'? They speak a type of slow cooked BBQ ribs style, southern, finger lickin' good American-ese, where every (word) bite is enjoyed, and takes a little longer to digest and then spit out.... the bones that is.....;)

I will get back with you with an article on it, with credible sources as you insist on...LOL

I long to learn to speak southers ASAP ! I am at my hotle and loving to listen to the conversations!!! Thanks for the prayers.

Thanks for all who prayed for my trip to North Carolina! It was wonderful. got to reconnect with our oldest and see our middle son and the six grandkids in my avatar picture!

Now we just need to sell our house to move into the house waiting for us in south Carolina! already found a great church I think and all the things to live life are just 5-7 miles away! OUr house goes on teh market here in Massachusetts in a week and many have told me expect it to sell in 2 weeks or less.


We are in a great location and own a historic house. We have worked like crazy to repaint, patch and repair things, so I hope they are correct and God sells the house quickly. I loathe the process of moving and am attacked by all the what ifs of my natural insecurity wanting to drag me down into unbelief.

I feel like Abraham in reverse. god told him to pack his things and move and he would tell him where. Well god has told us where, but has not given us a time line to pack our things!
