As you can see we have us some folks who sure seem to forget the words of HE WHO IS THE SAVOIR of the world .
Cause as we both see , HE made it real clear

then You SHALL die in your sins .
This savoir of the whole world sure had words to say that many often will omit for the sake
of another gospel and etc .

If you had a real faith and understanding you would not put all your faith in one verse that was added in at a later time...there would be plenty of evidence elsewhere in the bible. Simple minded believers you say? Real believers are called to search the scriptures PLURAL... not swallow a lie from a verse added in...singular.

If you read the bible you would see that it is by the mouth of 2 or three witnesses that something is established. And I discount what is obviously a clerical addition to the text.

However, if you WANT to believe a fiction...go ahead.

Jesus said that out of the mouth of 2 or three witnesses everything is established. It is wise to go to more than one author of the bible to get a clear picture of any given detail concerning God's ways. The people who put Paul over Jesus in order to ignore Jesus are acting foolishly....according to Paul.

And Paul praised the Bereans who searched the OT scriptures to check out for themselves what is written....so unlike the modern approach of trying to control what people think and believe.

TEMPTS GOD .
Paul did not pick up the seperpent on purpose to test his faith
He picked up wood and the snake had b een in that wood and bit him .
Satan even tried to trick JESUS

The last question is a simple one too . COMPARE all you think you know

Those verses in Mark agree with other scriptures......

Jhn 3:18

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned (krino - damned) already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Jhn 3:36

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son SHALL NOT SEE LIFE; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

2Th 2:10

And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that PERISH; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

That they all might be damned (krino) who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

The bible wasn't written for the learned, it was written for everyday people who may understand by the light of God. Some things are hard to be understood, but I don't find the foundational things are hard to understand for those who know Christ and have His Spirit within.....that is all the milk of the word. The gospel is good news to the poor, not good news to elite intellectuals and wise of this world.

To a religious person it would seem that Jesus only accepts those who know His name. This is used hypocritically to condemn all non-believers. And that very shallow viewpoint is seen as reasonable by...very shallow people. And it is dead wrong. The context is Israel...God's people. Not the world at large. All the warnings in the bible concern God's people. And believers in Christ, if they are truly believers, are now God's people. So the warning is extended from Israel in the flesh...to the upwardly called Israel in the Spirit.

Jesus came to Israel and was rejected. So the condemnation is on the original people of God. If you pay attention you will see the same condemnation coming on the Gentile people who also become God's people, but are no better than the original ones. Jesus called people to follow Him and most church-goers only follow themselves and whatever preacher tickles theirs ears with religious nonsense. God therefore selects a REMNANT from both Judah AND Ephraim. VERY few indeed. The ones who quibble over verses to justify themselves and condemn others are obviously NOT in the remnant.

He that believes INTO the Son has everlasting life and walks exactly as Jesus did...without any spot or wrinkle of sin. Why? Because a person who abides in Christ walks in resurrection life.

So you are trying to interpret a spiritually powerful statement as a carnal religious person...again, seeking to make a person's beliefs seem to have more value than there is. The condemnation of the modern decoy believers is that they have lowered God's standard of holiness, to make it accessible to sinful people, and made it filthy through their iniquity...and then condemn the righteous whom God loves, seeking to DISPLACE the righteous rather than exalting the truth in God's holy walk in Christ...which none have the faith for.

John is SPIRITUAL ...unlike most of his readers. Stop with the partisan religiosity. God is NOT religious. The devil is. So a perfect decoy is made by reducing an eternal walk into something that merely needs to be accepted...and this for the purpose of self-justification.

...and not good news for the religiously affiliated self-seekers. Jesus condemned the Pharisees in His time...and the modern decoy believers are no different.

A Pharisee is a pretender, an exaggerator, a decoy to the real thing. And this is encouraged in the modern religious system in order to have worldly success and fill the pews. But this does not fill heaven. It fills outer darkness.
