I started a poll asking if we are in the end time. I think over 75% of people said yes.
Now im curious about when.
So I'm asking when will Christ return.
Iv given some time periods along with "I don't know" for the uncertain people like myself.
Please feel free to vote and elaborate on your opinions.
Thank you and God bless

The honest answer is we don’t know and God does not tell us....all we have is a timeframe, but not “the day or the hour”...the time of the end began when Christ was enthroned in heaven, seen by Daniel in vision some 500 years before Christ was even born.

Daniel 7:13-14...
“I kept watching in the visions of the night, and look! with the clouds of the heavens, someone like a son of man was coming; and he gained access to the Ancient of Days, and they brought him up close before that One. 14  And to him there were given rulership, honor, and a kingdom, that the peoples, nations, and language groups should all serve him. His rulership is an everlasting rulership that will not pass away, and his kingdom will not be destroyed.”

This is the Kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for....a time when God’s rulership In the capable hand of his appointed King, would bring in a righteous government to re-establish God’s rulership over the earth, so that God’s will is done in both realms...”on earth as it is in heaven”.

So how did we lose God’s rulership and the prospect of everlasting life in the paradise God planned for us ?

The rebellion in Eden caused problems among all of God’s children, and the way God dealt with the abuse of free will was masterful. We could not be told the benefits of obedience to God, so we had to be shown what happens when we disobey, thinking we can do better by ourselves.....only then could we appreciate what a loving Father we have....one who always wanted to keep evil away from his children....but they chose to know it....and lost their perfect sinless state, now doomed to death by inheriting sin and imperfection.....with only one outcome that none could escape...death.

Re-establishing God’s Sovereignty over us was always the goal.....the reson why Jesus was sent, and the reason why God allowed us to be ruled for a time by the “god” that the first humans chose.
We have see where that leads us...and we will never want that to happen again.

Why did God not tell even his son when he will bring an end to it all?
“Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father. 37  For just as the days of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of man will be. 38  For as they were in those days before the Flood, eating and drinking, men marrying and women being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, 39  and they took no note until the Flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the Son of man will be.” (Matt 24:36-39)

God divulges things at the proper time.....even to his precious son apparently.

If we understand what happened in the days prior to the flood and the necessity to reset conditions for the human race on earth, we will get the picture.
Only Noah was found to be righteous in that world.

God gave Noah 120 years to have his sons, and to build the ark...but also to warn the people of his day, of God’s intentions....those who had descended into an extremely wicked condition due to demonic activity and the presence of monstrous humanoid creatures that were the product of human mothers and materialised angelic fathers.

This unnatural union was the catalyst for the flood because the earth (mankind upon it) had been “ruined” because of them....beings who had no right to exist we’re taking the human race down a dark path, way too soon.....God put a stop to it and wiped out those who were creating the problem. The Nephilim perished in the flood, but in order to survive, their demon fathers simply went back to the spirit realm where God put them in a condition of confinement or restraint....a spiritual prison called “Tartarus” that did not allow them to materialise ever again.....faithful angels however, continued to act as God’s messengers in material form.

If we were given the day and the hour, sinful humans would make sure that they jumped on board the spiritual ark just before the end, when God wants faithfulness to be demonstrated because of love for him and appreciation for the provision of salvation....not just to save your own neck....or to avoid consequences.

This life is a test, so no matter how long it takes, we are in for the long haul....what’s the worst that can happen? The same as what has happened to every human who has ever lived....death with a resurrection in view. (John 5:28-29) Death in this world is temporary, but “the second death” is not. We can’t avoid the first death, but we have choices about the second.

My 2cents worth....

God does tell us that he can come like a thief in the night, on those who are asleep and don't keep watch. That's the one you want to pay more attention to instead.

I would have to go along with Isaac Newton as being the closest. So my pick would be between 15 and 40...

And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half. -Daniel 12:7

From a folio cataloged as Yahuda MS 7.3g, f. 13v:

"So then the time times & half a time are 42 months or 1260 days or three years & an half, reckoning twelve months to a year & 30 days to a month as was done in the Calendar of the primitive year. And the days of short lived Beasts being put for the years of lived kingdoms, the period of 1260 days, if dated from the complete conquest of the three kings A.C. 800, will end A.C. 2060." - Isaac Newton

As Charlemagne was crowned king on December 25, 800 by Pope Leo the III so the day of Christ's coming may be on Christmas Day, 2060. If the rapture of the saints (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17) occurs seven years before the time of Christ's coming the date of the rapture 12.25 2053. However Isaac Newton notes...

"It may end later, but I see no reason for its ending sooner. This I mention not to assert when the time of the end shall be, but to put a stop to the rash conjectures of fancifull men who are frequently predicting the time of the end, & by doing so bring the sacred prophesies into discredit as often as their predictions fail. Christ comes as a thief in the night, & it is not for us to know the times & seasons which God hath put into his own breast." - Isaac Newton

I see the, "I don't know" as leading the poll. In which is probably the wisest pick.

God does tell us that he can come like a thief in the night, on those who are asleep and don't keep watch. That's the one you want to pay more attention to instead.
What did Jesus tell us.

Matt 24: 36-47....ESV...
“But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only. For as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. . . . . .Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect. . . . . “

The world at large will not be expecting what true Christians are told to expect...which is why we are told to be “ready” for whenever that happens....any day now...

But Jesus also said...
“Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his master has set over his household, to give them their food at the proper time? Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes. Truly, I say to you, he will set him over all his possessions.”

Who is that “faithful and wise servant” who will be found “feeding” the masters household their “food at the proper time” “when he comes”? Will it be the divided churches of Christendom feeding different “food” to different groups of professed Christians, called denominations? “Does the Christ exist divided”? Does their god speak with a forked tongue? Or is it God’s enemy who does that?

When Jesus arrives to deliver his judgments, this servant (not an individual) will be appointed over all his possessions.....so what are the master’s possessions? Those for whom he gave his life....in all nations on earth....every life precious.

Regardless of when Jesus came or passed, he has already come or not. Will the world change on the day when Jesus returns? It's like the day Jesus returned, people became good All of a sudden.
Can you believe it? I don't believe it anyway.
I advise people who think so.Give up this fantasy as soon as possible. The return of Jesus is not what you think. As if everything were going to be all right.ohTo use a biblical phraseHe who endures to the end will be saved.

The answer is "now" or "today."

"For He says: 'In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.' Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation." 2 Corinthians 6:2

Jesus said, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me." Revelation 3:20

Paul said, "but each one in his own order" (each person in their own time). 1 Corinthians 15:23
