While you have had personal battles going on…
The Good news IS…you have experienced a Spiritual Calling… by the Lord Himself!…
And took notice!
And THAT is a blessing unto you.

We will always have battles, trials, disappointments, tribulations IN this World.

God is our Heavenly Host.
Jesus is our Servant, Friend, Savior… and Comforter in this natural life…24-7.

No travel, building, special clothing…Jesus will hear you anytime, anyplace…
With the CAVEAT… that you Believe IN Him.

The caveat is, if one does not Believe IN Him, He doesn’t Know them, thus He does Not Hear them.

Faith is a Gift, given from the Lord God…FOR your willingness TO HEAR (read) His Word.

Everything you “hear”… verify against Gods Word, that it be True. (That is called testing).

You experienced a calling…Many ARE called…Few respond, thus Few are Chosen…

You have exhibited… being Chosen…a great Blessing unto you.

Many on this forum will be eager to help with anything you ask.

Warning…there are Secular, Religious, and Political Divisions here, like everywhere.

Welcome!

It is good to fellowship with others who seek Christ and gather in His name. But more importantly, seek Him personally, inwardly--that is where He is most directly to be found, and where He does His greatest business...for you.

Meanwhile, enjoy--God is good and you have taken an important step, which will cause Him to do His part--He is now there for you. Talk to Him.

Welcome MrB41- I would advise you to pray and read your bible. None of us can do this alone. Prayer is key.
Talk to God and admit your sins - ask God for His help to turn from them.
Believe that the Lord Jesus gave His life for you- forgiveness of your sins.. He will give you life.
Keep praying daily- offering thanks and keep reading daily too.
Soon you'll be rejoicing in His love!

This life will still throw it's curveballs and hits- but you wont be alone to deal with them. There is so much more than this life.

Jesus is searching for you. He desires your company and wants you to know it. I pray it is fertile soil on which the seed has fallen.
