For the record: “God’s” is possessive, singular, as in “God’s mercy,” so it does not take a plural verb.
He is your God, too, and loves you, and yes, His love will save us.
Can you know what I believe, or believed?
What do you believe in? Did the universe create itself? Did life create itself randomly? Does life have a purpose?

Even though I know the ending of the world, I still detest the world as it is now.
Even though I know that people should not be short-term, they should take a long-term view.
But I still hate the world now.
