You really shouldn't joke about such things.

I wasn’t joking. He confronted the moderators and they did their job when he persisted. It was his fault, not the moderator’s.

I tried for four years to help the man, but to no avail. He didn’t want help. He wanted attention. His life was destroyed by homelessness and mental health issues. He wanted to die.

I’m brokenhearted this evening.

This one is for you @2bme.

2bme has died? Or just got banned?

He was not happy being in this forum.

From what I have seen, he just lashed out at Christians, and even begged to be banned.

He was banned. As far as I know, he’s still wandering the streets and sleeping outside.

He was not happy being in this forum.

He wasn’t happy being anywhere.

He did. He is a Christian who became homeless and suffered mental illness while living on the streets.

I’ve met a number of people like him. It isn’t uncommon for mentally ill people to lash out against Christians / Christianity.

His story is a tragedy. I’m thankful for all who have prayed for him. I know I wasn’t the only one.

Yes, very tragic. Hard to believe he was ever a Christian, but I have had some extremely low points in my life, too. We must be thankful for what we have.

It's sad that he was banned. He seemed like a good guy that was just dealing with a lot of stuff.

Yes I figured he was hurting badly so I didn't report him. I didn't know he was homeless... that's sad.

Does anyone know what State or country he lives in? Was it Australia?

Answering my own question...he lives in Melbourne, Australia.

It's sad that he was banned.

He has written about visiting Christian outreach programs for the homeless. He hasn’t gotten on well with them in the past but that could change. I hope it does.

We can’t speak with 2bme anymore but we can still pray for him.

I was thinking about @2bme this evening and the “Fighting Joe coming down Missionary Ridge” scene from the movie Monte Walsh flashed across my mind.

”He’ll never make it.”

”He don’t want to.”

I still wonder from time to time if there was something else that I could have said to him that would have made a difference. I hate what happened to him.

Sometimes you just have to realize you did the best you could. And leave the results to the Lord.

Hard times come into all of our lives. We have to persevere and get through them. Difficult enough to do with Jesus; without him, harder still.

I also don't like how things turned out. But he made his choice. There wasn't anything you could have said that would've changed that.

I think some people try to come back under a different name... maybe he will.
