i believe that goal of Christianity - winning the race is submitting to Christ for justification and working with Him for sanctification and eventual transformation into a citizen of Heaven. i am realizing that Jesus is the only way to reconcilliation with the father, but there is more than one way to Jesus.....

In order to come to Jesus you must be called. No one can approach Him on their own. They must be drawn to Him and the only One that allows that to happen is God.

John 6
44 No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.

1 Corinthians 3
6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.
7 So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.

I think we must be very careful and even leery to equate any amount of knowledge with maturity/immaturity of sanctification. We are all at different levels, and I believe that Theistic Evolutionists and Young Earth Creationists do err when try and throw one another out of the orthodox Christian fold.

Aspen, I think this is a mature statement for you to make, and would be in line with the teachings of Jesus regardless of which "side" the truth falls down upon.
