Most all of us have lived and even at times worked around atheists people, the thing I truly respect about atheists is the fact that atheists are completely honest about their dislike of the bible
atheists totally reject and disbelief the scriptures and its subject and many atheist doubt the historical validity of most of the Bible.
This is a starting point for discussion with atheists as they are honest about where they stand but for Roman Catholics whom also share many of the ideas and feelings as atheists, and Roman Catholics publicly fully support many, many of the atheist views.
in fact, Catholics have the combined approach to the Bible - as both Muslims and Atheists,
some of the Bible Catholics totally doubt and disbelief as mythological and myth and on other portions of the Bible Catholics pick and choose what they believe and do not and what must be added to, or changed completely.

this statement is completely true, the Gospels are not scientific, and they are not really full biographies of Jesus, but does the fact that Gospels are not scientific and are not full biographies show that there is reason to doubt other things in the Bible or are Catholics using this factual diversion as a tool to promote its religious faith system by a method of mixing a little truth with doubt and using UNRELATED TRUTH to cast disbelief ?
