and now for a reminder . IF under the law a man could be put to death by two or three witnesses ,
HOW much SORER , as IN WORSE , a punishment for those who TROD CHRIST under foot .
LETS keep that in mind the next time anyone hears the song of a well favored HARLOT
who has sold her ecumeincal death song , second death song assurance , unto this world .
Let us remember that if a man could surely be put TO DEATH
HOW much worse for those who rejected JESUS THE CHRIST and found love in
a harlot and her ecumenincal intefaith inclusive interreligious dialogue and plan for peace .
Cause guess who is b ehind this peace plan . And guess who its gonna merge them all as ONE MAN
with ONE HEART and ONE agenda right under . THE BEAST who by means of a HIGHLY poweful

Hmm, well, Christ is the great Shepherd of the sheep, not the unbelieving goats. Christ only shepherds His people, for all the others, He does not know them, where they are from.

The verse says he will Rule (Shepherd) them though and RULE is in the future tense while the other verbs are present tense showing the peaceful rule over the nations is AFTER Armageddon. That's why I am Premill because it aligns with what is written.

You believe Christ rules over the nations now right? You believe the Mill is now right? It's a peaceful rule by Christ now. We believe the same, we just don't agree on when and a few other details but it's a fact in both doctrines that the unsaved nations are peacefully ruled over by Christ during the thousand years.

Debunked.
The Wycliffe Bible translated the word as "dissencioun" (i.e. "dissension"), not "departure".
Every Reformer, suffering under the apostate papal antichrist, would have laughed the idea of a rapture to scorn.
Every Reformer understood apostasy to mean departure from the truth.
The myth of rapture in the verse did not appear until 1859.

Stop perpetuating bunk.
The departure myth was in the 1599 Geneva Bible.
2 these 2
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: [g]for that day shall not come, except there come a departing first, and that [h]that man of sin be disclosed, even the son of perdition.

I looked up the Geneva and tindale bibles.
Both use departure.

As does the Greek.
Are they bunk?

Why don't you look up Wycliffe?
Why don't you learn to spell "Tyndale"?
Why don't you understand what departure meant to the Reformers?
Or do you prefer to believe bunk?

You are ignorant.
The literal translation from the Greek
....cue drum roll.... is, "DEPARTURE"
Literally " from standing".

The, "from the faith" is added.
"Departure from the faith".
ALL IT SAYS IS "DEPARTURE."

So stop accusing others of your ill informed mess, when you do not know what you are talking about.
Such desperation in postribber stretches and grand canyon leaps.

Literally calling the Bible "bunk"

A doctrine that shudders at the literal meaning.

Uh huh.

8 I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of Man cometh, shall He find faith on the earth?”

Christ is suggesting He won't find much faith in Him when He comes again
And that agrees with how all the scripture teaches about the Last Days.

Those beast(s), false prophet(s), antichrist(s) are that mystery of lawlessness working of the last times.

2 saying, “There was in a city a judge who feared not God, neither regarded man.

3 And there was a widow in that city, and she came unto him, saying, ‘Avenge me on mine adversary.’

4 And for a while he would not, but afterward he said within himself, ‘Though I fear not God nor regard man,

5 yet because this widow troubleth me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’”

6 And the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge saith.

7 And shall not God avenge His own elect, who cry day and night unto Him, though He bear long with them?

8 I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of Man cometh, shall He find faith on the earth?”

STRONGS NT 646: ἀποστασία
ἀποστασία, ἀποστασιας, ἡ (ἀφισταμαι), a falling away, defection, apostasy; in the Bible namely, from the true religion: Acts 21:21; 2 Thessalonians 2:3;

Not a rapture in sight.

As expected, you're too lazy to look up Wycliffe.

I show you exactly how to spell "Tyndale", and you still can't spell "Tyndale".
Now that's ignorance.

Tyndale was a Reformer. Any idea what that meant?
Of course not.
Now that's ignorance.

Thanks for your confirmations.

I misspelled it for you to have something to do.
Mospelled it so you could divert from what is said.
Look at it as an opportunity.

Read this SLOWLY.
646 apostasía (from 868 /aphístēmi, "leave, depart," which is derived from 575 /apó, "away from" and 2476 /histémi, "stand") – properly, departure (implying desertion); apostasy – literally, "a leaving, from a previous standing."

SEE THAT?????
"FROM THE FAITH" IS IMPLIED.
YOU KNOW WHAT "IMPLIED" IS?????

YOU GUYS ARE SO EMOTTUONAL YOU CAN NOT FOLLOW THE LITERAL DEFINITION.

Look, I do not care what you need it to be.
If you prefer "falling away from the faith", i am fine with it.
If you want to advance the pretrib rapture, then go for it.( cue evil scoff from reader)
If you want to dig in and add "from the faith",
IT DOES NOT MATTER.
FLAT OUT DOES NOT MATTER.
I am a pretribber (sp).
(I Actually LEAN TOWARDS AND AGREE "FROM THE FAITH " IS A GOOD RENDERING.)

SO WHY DO I SAY YOU ARE IGNORANT?
Because you were UNAWARE that the LITERAL WORDING IS SIMPLY "DEPART".
YOU DID NOT KNOW THAT.
I AM SAYING IGNORANCE, IN A NON TOXIC WAY.
(UNKNOWING THE VERSE IN QUESTION.)
YOU WERE IGNORANT OF IT, but I kindly helped you out.
NOT TRYING TO JERK YOUR CHAIN.

SO CALM DOWN.
Admit you were wrong

It is not my opinion.
It is fackt.

Well, combining false religions with the true is really an abomination to Christ.
Christ is the way, truth, life, then Christ adds in v7, which is also very significant, proving He is OF God and GOD in the flesh.
So all the other ways are thieves and robbers, We do have a firm foundation in that the sheep of Christ will not hear them.

John 14:5-7

5 “Lord,” Thomas said, “we don’t know where you’re going. How can we know the way?”

6 Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
7 If you know me, you will also know[a] my Father. From now on you do know him and have seen him.”

John 10
“Truly I tell you, anyone who doesn’t enter the sheep pen by the gate but climbs in some other way is a thief and a robber. 2 The one who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 The gatekeeper opens it for him, and the sheep hear his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4 When he has brought all his own outside, he goes ahead of them. The sheep follow him because they know his voice. 5 They will never follow a stranger; instead they will run away from him, because they don’t know the voice of strangers.” 6 Jesus gave them this figure of speech, but they did not understand what he was telling them.

1. The Greek Word for "Coming" (Parousia) Does Not Allow an "Invisible" Return

Pre-trib and mid-trib theories often rely on dividing Christ's return into two phases: a quiet, secret, or "invisible" coming for the church, followed later by a public, visible "Second Coming" in judgment.

  • The Problem: The New Testament uses the word Parousia (presence/arrival) for Christ's return, and it consistently describes it as loud, visible, and unmistakable.
  • 1 Thessalonians 4:16 explicitly says He descends with a "cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God." That is the exact opposite of quiet or invisible.
  • Furthermore, Revelation 1:7 declares: "Behold, every eye will see him, even those who pierced him..." There is no biblical category for a secret, invisible extraction of believers where the rest of the world misses the event entirely.

2. The "Last Trumpet" Destroys a Mid-Trib or Pre-Trib Timeline

Paul specifically anchors the resurrection and transformation of living believers to a very specific chronological marker: the last trumpet (1 Corinthians 15:52).

  • If a group of believers is raptured mid-tribulation, and another group is raptured at the end of the tribulation (at the visible Second Coming), how can there be a "last" trumpet for the second group?
  • If trumpets are still sounding for a subsequent gathering of "tribulation saints" years later, the first trumpet wasn't the last one. Paul uses "last" to signify the final punctuation mark of human history, leaving no room for a repeat performance.

3. The New Testament Knows Only One "Gathering Together"

When Paul addresses the exact concern of believers being confused about the timing of being gathered to Christ, he explicitly ties it to one major event.

  • In 2 Thessalonians 2:1–3, Paul begs the church not to be shaken by the idea that the Day of the Lord has already come, reminding them that the gathering together to Christ will not happen until the "man of lawlessness" is revealed. He treats the gathering and the revelation of Christ as a single, simultaneous event, not split across two separate timelines years apart.

4. Where Does Scripture Invent "Tribulation Saints" Separated from the Church?

The idea that God has two separate groups of redeemed people with two entirely different destiny timelines—one body raptured early, and another group of "tribulation saints" caught up later—violates the core New Testament unity of the Body of Christ.

  • Paul states in Ephesians 4:4–5 that there is "one body and one Spirit... one hope to which you were called."
  • Splitting the redeemed into separate classes with separate extraction dates turns the "one hope" into two entirely different hopes.
Amen. Everything on this Earth ends when Jesus comes. No additional time/ kingdom for jews, for they must believe on Him before He comes, just like the rest of us. Certainly many will.

John 11:23-24 KJV
Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. [24] Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day

THE LAST DAY. No one in the New testament ever speaks of a time period after the last day. Unless of course, it's eternal Heaven.

I'm confident in the etymological credentials and competencies of the translators.
Your nonspecific definition does not specify 2 Thessalonians 2:3.
My specific definition does.
Specific supersedes nonspecific.

Can you read for COMPREHENSION????

You are making my point.
THEY TRANSLATED it to read what IS IMPLIED.
HOWEVER the literal is "DEPART"
Try and get some understanding.
Look up "implied"
Look up "literal meaning"

I am convinced you are overly protecting a doctrine to the point that when presented a simple truth, you are so paranoid that your doctrine is busted, that you can not even look up the literal meaning.

Even when I told you I am FINE WITH EITHER RENDERING, you still put your doctrinal blinders on.

Look either rendering is 100% pretrib rapture.
.. 100%.!!!
A "falling away," a "departure from the faith", works beautifully with the pretrib rapture doctrine.
However, it is comical to watch you guys run wildly like a scaled ape, over a no brainer.
Fighting a simple fact to the end.

....with no red flags.

It does not appear in mine.
Your definition does not cite any Scriptures to which it applies.
Mine does.
But since you can't understand the distinctions,
Just leave them for those who can.
