We are getting close to elections and the democrats are trying back off the WOKE/Communists thing. But they are not backing off abortion. Political commercials are running on TV, where they say abortion is women's health care.....or laws against abortions deny women's health care.
Here in Missouri we have a law on the ballot to limit abortion and the adds run saying to vote against Amendment 3 and just say to vote against Amendment 3 because politicians should not have the right to deny women's health care.
To democrats, murdering 600,000 babies a year in the US is health care, equating it to birth control.
I have strong feeling on this. We just watched a mother kill three of her kids. I believe a mother will face judgment on this as murdering her own baby.
And another thought, what are abortion doctors and nurses? What human could get up every morning and go to work to murder babies? What human heart could stand to do that? What are your thoughts
I say it is a sin to vote for a democrat.

If carrying a child to full term threatens the mother’s life, the final choice should still be hers. (Are there any laws that state otherwise?)

For the atheists among us (et tu @Mancunian?), everything is expendable that interferes with the person’s own enjoyment. All morality becomes relative to the fulfillment of selfish desires.

It is depressing that this mindset has become so widespread. More than ever, we must trust in God to see His intentions fulfilled.

Peace.

If murder should be legal then YES abortion should be legal too.

But Christians don't support abortion/murder.

I say it is a sin to vote for a democrat.

I believe Scripture teaches two truths at the same time:
  1. All grave acts — including the taking of innocent life — are objectively evil, and
  2. Only God can judge the interior state of any particular soul.
Throughout Scripture, God shows that disobedience to His Law is always an offense, but the degree of personal guilt depends on knowledge, freedom, and intent. Jesus reaffirms the commandment, “You shall not murder” (Matthew 5:21), and He makes clear that the taking of innocent life is subject to judgment. Yet He also shows that judgment belongs to God alone, because only He sees the heart.

“It is God who executes judgment, putting down one and lifting up another.” (Psalm 75:7)

“Man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.” (1 Samuel 16:7)

When Scripture speaks of judgment, it does not mean automatic condemnation. Judgment is God’s perfect evaluation of a person’s life, motives, and actions — an evaluation that precedes either reward or punishment. As Hebrews says:

“It is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment.” (Hebrews 9:27)
Judgment is the process, not the outcome. The outcome is either eternal life or eternal separation.

This is why Jesus warns us not to take judgment into our own hands:

“For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged.” (Matthew 7:2)
He is reminding us that judgment belongs to God because only God sees the whole truth of a person’s heart.

This means God judges each person case by case, taking into account the full interior reality — what they understood, what pressures they faced, what wounds or fears influenced them, and whether they later repented. None of this removes the gravity of the act itself, but it does mean we cannot declare the final state of any soul.

Scripture also shows that what makes disobedience a personal sin is not only the act itself, but the knowledge, willfulness, and persistence behind it. A person sins when they know God’s command, freely choose to reject it, and persist in that rejection. This is why Jesus says, “That servant who knew his master’s will but did not act according to it will receive a severe beating” (Luke 12:47), while the one who acted in ignorance receives a lighter one. The act may be objectively evil either way, but the culpability depends on whether the person knowingly and deliberately resisted God’s will.

Scripture also teaches that God’s final judgment is never about any one act of obedience or disobedience, but about the totality of a person’s life — their faith, their repentance, their perseverance, and the full pattern of their choices. No single action, whether good or evil, defines the whole of a soul. God judges the entire story, not an isolated moment. This is why it is impossible for us to declare the eternal fate of any person based on one decision, one sin, or one vote. Only God sees the whole life; only God judges the whole life.

So when I hear of someone committing a grave sin — including the killing of a child, whether inside or outside the womb — I try to avoid stepping into God’s place as judge. Instead, I pray for their repentance and healing, because Scripture also says:

“If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death, he shall ask, and God will give him life… There is sin that leads to death; I do not say that one should pray for that.” (1 John 5:16)
This doesn’t minimize the evil of abortion. It simply recognizes that God alone judges the sinner, while we judge the sin and pray for conversion.

I believe every Christian must form their conscience carefully and vote in a way that aligns with God’s Law. But I also believe it is dangerous to declare that any particular vote automatically damns a soul. God judges the whole of a person’s life, not one isolated act.

So my approach is:
  • Name evil clearly, including the evil of abortion.
  • Call people to repentance and truth.
  • Leave final judgment to God alone.

I don't think a vote can damn a soul. As it is now I think considering the democrat agenda I think it is a sin to vote for a democrat....pretty close to voting for the devil. I believe in the two party system, we just need to vote these democrats out and hope they are replaced with some with more common sense, less creepy, and less communist.
I am not talking about replacing Christ and judging people to Hell. I am talking about murder and if it should be illegal. But I could care less about why they murder babies or their neighbors. On the civil level murder should be illegal. As far at the religious level the mother will answer for murdering her baby when she stands in front of Christ.
When you put abortion in motion it is a horror. As it was 600,000 times year a doctors got up in the morning to go to work to murder babies. And 600,000 times a year mothers laid down to let their baby be horribly murdered. The process is disgusting.

When you say you “couldn't care less” about why someone commits an act of disobedience or sin, I understand the emotional reaction — especially with something as horrific as abortion or murder. But if God judged that way, none of us would go to Heaven. Scripture is clear that God judges not only the act, but the heart, the knowledge, the freedom, the wounds, and the circumstances behind it. If He judged us solely by the worst thing we ever did, without considering anything else, every one of us would be condemned.

That’s why Jesus says, “Man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.” (1 Samuel 16:7) And why He warns, “With the judgment you pronounce you will be judged.” (Matthew 7:2)

God cares deeply about the interior reality behind every act of disobedience — not to excuse evil, but to judge perfectly. If we refuse to consider the interior reality of others, we are judging in a way God Himself refuses to judge.

It is not an emotional reaction. Like I said I am not talking about the sin aspect. I am talking about the legality of murder. Murder made into a system that kills 600,000 babies a year. This lady Lindsey killed her three children and people are horrified but pretty much ignore 600,000 babies.
And I am not commenting on the sin or Lord's judgment on it. That is separate. As a society should we allow the murder of Babies?
On the religious side, yes it is a sin, but it is above our paygrade to judge someone to Hell.

When you say you’re “not talking about the sin aspect or the Lord's judgment” but only about the legality of murder, I understand the distinction you’re trying to make. But for Christians, the moral and the legal can’t be separated that sharply. God’s Law existed before any human legal system, and His ways are the standard by which we measure every human law. So yes — we should vote in a way that reflects God’s Law and apply His ways in every part of our lives. But our votes cannot control another person’s choices. Even if murder were illegal in every corner of the earth, someone determined to kill would still do it. That’s why I’m lifting this discussion to the higher plane — the one that actually shapes souls eternally. Civil law can restrain evil, but only God’s grace can transform the human heart.

And whether the reaction feels emotional or not, the point remains the same: Christians cannot judge only the external act. God always judges the interior reality — the knowledge, the freedom, the wounds, the pressures, the intent. If we judge only the outward act, we are judging in a way God Himself refuses to judge.

And just to be clear on the religious side: not every act of disobedience is a personal sin. A sin requires knowledge, freedom, and willful persistence. The act may be objectively evil, but the person’s culpability depends on the interior reality God alone sees.

Not every act of disobedience is a personal sin? Christ will judge that on Judgment Day.

I understand you’re asking about civil law. But Christians cannot separate legality from God’s Law or God’s judgment. We can’t answer the civil question without acknowledging the moral and spiritual reality behind it.

If carrying a child to full term threatens the mother’s life, the final choice should still be hers. (Are there any laws that state otherwise?)

If the goal is to remove the baby to save the mother's life, that can already be accomplished via c-section as early as the second trimester without aborting the baby. But that probably makes up a tiny percentage of abortions. I'm no doctor, but I can think of very few instances where it would first be necessary to abort a baby to save the mother's life. The only instance I know of is an entropic pregnancy, but those are akin to mischarges because the baby never had a chance to make it to full term anyway.

It’s not an emotional reaction one little bit. That’s projecting.

It is staying focused on what is our responsibility - to judge the act - and not get distracted by your Appeal To Emotion, of what is in the heart of the murderer, which is also irrelevant to the matter at hand.

Whether one's reaction is emotional or not, Christians judge the act as objectively evil, but only God judges the interior reality. Civil law deals with the external act; Christian moral theology deals with both the act and the heart. We cannot collapse those categories.

Right — and that’s exactly why Christians have to consider both the external act and the interior reality when we talk about law. Civil law can restrain evil, but only God’s judgment reaches the heart.

No ifs and's or butt's when you get to the voting booth, there is no box for "consider both the external act and the interior reality" it is either yes or no. Its either that reality or do not vote.
