According to the teachings of Jesus VIA Paul how do believers today avoid 'destruction' ?
That's not Jesus VIA Paul. Here's a main cause..
He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.2 Peter 3:16
Does it have to be through Paul when Peter answered your question? That's not Jesus VIA Paul.
The request was SIMPLE and POLITE,

So the truth is not relevant unless it is revealed according to your personal stipulation.???
@amigo de christoSolid proof you need too . IF you are making this as an excuse for not reading it for ourselves .
SO , LET GOD be TRUE but every man a liar . Time to make bible reading for OURSELVES great again .

yeah TRUE teachers . Meanwhile stay dug in the holy scriptures .AOC....
Do yourself a favor.
Order some messages that had been extracted from the Hebrew and Greek texts...

Learn why reading a translation for yourself past a certain basic point becomes a lie from the Devil.
God never intended us to do it that way.
He intended for us to have teachers.
Game playing....If Peter & Paul were taught exactly the same by Jesus then you will EASILY be able to show where Jesus VIA Paul taught how believers today avoid 'destruction'
If you don't know, then say so :)
Seems to me it is you who are playing games since you are deflecting his simple request that you show HOW reading Scripture can become demonic.Game playing....
Grow up.

Trump says ‘crazy’ Netanyahu has made everyone hate Israel in furious phone call
Trump ‘steamrolls’ Netanyahu over Israel’s attacks in Lebanon, reportedly telling him: ‘Everybody hates you now. Everybody hates Israel because of this’www.the-independent.com
trump inadvertently speaks scripture in reference to Israel , telling Netanyahu that everyone hates him (Israel)
Revelation 16:14, 20:8-9
I'm sure some will come on here to dispute the relevance of this scripture to this season, however the bible is always right, the t.r.u.m.p has continuously push back on his supposed peace agreement, exaggeration to the point of lying.
It is sad that he does not realize, no president will ever halt this war, this war started with Sarah telling Abraham to go into her concubine Hagar, thinking she was helping God with his promise, because of her old age.
Only Jesus/Yeshua, (Zechariah 12:2-3) On that day, when all nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations
Yes we do! that is why I voted for Trump. When you vote for president, you are choosing for a fiercely loyal guard dog.
Many pastors need to be more like that in their own way.
As a sheep dog.
Sorry friend. That is absolutely not true.OK... You equate reading a translation to being Scripture. Correct?
It might be. But there are too many times that it has failed to convey the original intent.
The only way to get Scripture all the time... if it's to be done?
Is to have some expert pastor who is a scholar to exegete the text in the original language.
That is not something for babies nor most sophomore believers to pursue.
There are none.If you disagree, please list your perfectly moral president!
Genez, sure. If I were teaching Titus 2:11–12 to new believers, I would keep it simple:Not nuance.
Misleading.
Titus 2:11–12 in translation may turn out to be a perfect example.
There were no such translations around when the Bible was written.
So? How could it say something concerning that?
Please, show me what your thrust would be in teaching Titus 2:11-12 to a Bible study?
Keep it simple as if you were teaching it to new believers.
For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age.
It is important to learn about.
Matthew 7 says few find the way. It does not say God provides only a few teachers. The way to destruction also applies to teachers, just like all of us.

Genez, sure. If I were teaching Titus 2:11–12 to new believers, I would keep it simple:
God's grace has appeared bringing salvation to mankind. But God's grace doesn't only save us; it also trains us in how to live.
That grace trains us to reject ungodliness and worldly desires and to live self-controlled, righteous, and godly lives in this present age.
Now show me from the Greek where that basic understanding becomes misleading.
First a person needs to be taught how to be savedThe means to teach one not to live an ungodly life is not the word used in a teacher/student arrangement.
The teaching is like what a parent may do to teach his child a lesson not to do something.
How?
By letting him do it and ending up hurting himself.
From then on, he will learn the hard way. But to avoid doing such a thing ever again.
That would help Christians better understand that God actually was teaching them to straighten up and fly right.
