I don't think any Christian desires death for anyone else.
But some do desire death for Christians.
It becomes, sadly, a matter of self-defence.
You seem to be in a safe haven...
not all are.
Until our time on earth ends, we can all help those that desire of Christ. We should all be careful to not aid those that make themselves an enemy to God and Christianity or Christians. Helping those the lord directs us to help. Not forsaking the enemy food and wisely serving a meal from our lord. Not serving ourselves nor God's testament to be raped nor murdered. Wise as a servant, harmless as a dove, selling what we have to purchase a sword. Which today is being armed, in sufficient numbers if among enemies of God. Not intentionally turning our witness into a terror scene :)
There are plenty of corrupt souls out there that might ensnare God's people as they trapped, and boxed in Christ Jesus and his followers, forcing them in jails, saved and released by God's angels.
Even given wings of his loving eagle to carry them off into the wilderness. God still works miracles from above. He delivers Israel unto he comes again in glory above.
The enemy believes in death, deception and that they can make dead, deceive, steal and that which they surely believe in becomes the belief used by the destroyer they die before.
We, God's people, believe in life after death, we seek not to die, but instead believe in the God of life. We seek after living things, believe in him the resurrector of the dead.
In care,
