A bombshell interview with acclaimed Palestinian journalist Motaz Azaiza shows why you can’t trust almost any reporting on Hamas, Israel’s war in Gaza, or the basic facts of life under the terror group.

Azaiza has been feted by topline news outlets from CNN to CBS to The Guardian, named GQ’s 2023 Middle East Man of the Year, and cheered by the likes of YouTube sensation Ms. Rachel, Mayor Zohran Mamdani and Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.).

But in an hours-long taped interview, he’s now opted to tell truths he’d been hiding.

He admits that he suppressed videos of Palestinian war crimes against Israeli hostages: During Hamas’ triumphal march of its kidnapees, “people got out, watched, beat them, hit them, and I followed them and filmed. But I did not publish those videos.”

He met with then-Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh but asked that all evidence of it be deleted.

More, he confirms that a Hamas-aligned groupchat more or less gives marching orders to every journalist in Gaza — who obey, or else.

Hardly far-fetched: al-Jazeera (no friend of Israel) reportedly fired two dozen of its own “journalists” over alleged ties to Hamas and rival Islamist terror group Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

Above all, Azaiza admits the rigid censorship of all speech and images coming out of Gaza.

“When I was filming and documenting the events, I wasn’t focused on how angry people were toward Hamas and its government,” he pleads.

“When someone gets out of the ambulance and says ‘May God punish Hamas’ while I’m filming, the people around him turn the camera away”; if what someone says to the press “does not align” with Hamas, the speaker will “disappear behind the sun.”

Indeed, Uday al-Ruba’i “was killed during the war by Hamas simply because of opinion on Facebook.”

Azaiza even asks: “So how many were killed in Gaza by Hamas? And why don’t we hear their names in the West Bank? Not even from Fatah. They were Fatah’s own sons. Thrown off the rooftops. And nobody moved.”

He also blows up the lie of an “Israeli siege” of Gaza pre-Oct. 7, noting: “The last two years, it wasn’t really a siege. Something eased. . . . The country’s standard improved. A lot of new projects opened. Travel got easier. Instead of paying $1,500 or $2,000 for coordination, you’d pay $200.”

More than a decade ago, former AP reporter and editor Matti Friedman revealed how biased the agency’s Israel coverage was; Hamas’ savage approach to media relations was an open secret to anyone in the global or US press who bothered to look into it.

But they kept pretending that sources like Azaiza were not just credible, but heroic.

They insist Israel has committed genocide in Gaza, when by any definition of the term it has not. Just last week, The New York Times condescendingly reported, “Israelis still largely view themselves as the victims of Oct. 7” — and then tried to explain it away as an “editing error.”

This, scant months after Nicolas Kristof’s deranged libel that the IDF used dogs to rape Palestinians — a column relying heavily, it should be noted, on a Hamas-linked NGO.

So expect this interview to fall into a great void in the very circles that had embraced Azaiaza when he was a propagandist-by-proxy. This crowd wants to eat up Hamas’ propaganda — and only grew more eager to disseminate it after Oct. 7, because it doesn’t care about truth or the people of Gaza: It’s all about hating on Israel.

I wonder why he is suddenly admitting the truth?

I knew that Hamas controlled all news reports, photos and videos coming out of Gaza. And some of the videos were staged...given the name of Pallywood productions.
Israel controlled the whole October 7th narrative.
This article is one of many that exposes the truth as to what actually happened that day.

( Council Estate media October 7th, 2026):

Israel is using today as a propaganda opportunity, so it’s essential we set the record straight. It’s undeniable that Netanyahu knew October 7 was coming. This has been confirmed by Israeli military probes, leaked intelligence, and reporting by outlets including The New York Times, Haaretz, The Times of Israel, The Guardian, the BBC, The Atlantic, and The Wall Street Journal.

Israeli military intelligence obtained a detailed Hamas blueprint codenamed “Jericho Wall”, over a year before the attack. It described breaching the border fence at multiple points, overrunning bases and communities, and taking hostages. Israeli leaks later confirmed that Israel had other versions of the plan circulating since 2018.

An Israeli officer in Unit 8200 wrote multiple assessments of Hamas drills on simulated IDF outposts. She noted that senior Hamas commanders were observing the drills, the plan was operational, and Israel will likely not get a long warning.

Israeli military intelligence sent Netanyahu several letters between March and July 2023, warning him of the dangers. On top of that, multiple foreign countries warned him—and Mr Security failed to act.

UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed warned Netanyahu in late September 2023 that Yahya Sinwar was planning a major operation. Netanyahu later tried to pressure the UAE into saying that no such warning had been given. Egyptian authorities warned Israel “something big was coming” just three days before the attack.

Despite these warnings, Israeli authorities ignored key signs of an attack on October 6 and 7, including the activation of sim cards and unusual rocket movements. No one raised the alert or attempted to raise security along the border. Military and intelligence chiefs have publicly accepted responsibility for the failure. Netanyahu has not.

Roughly half of the 1,500 troops assigned to the area were away on the morning. Despite this vulnerability, and the detailed warnings, the Nova Festival was not only allowed to go ahead, it was given a one-day extension. That extension made it run into October 7.

Officers in the Gaza Division had initially opposed the extension, due to the lack of security, and they were overruled. As a result, 364 festival goers were killed and dozens were abducted.

It took Israeli forces three and a half hours to respond and they were not directed to the worst hit areas. It took them nearly six hours to reach Nir Oz (after the attackers had already left), nearly six hours to reach Kfar Aza and Sufa, seven hours to reach Nahal Oz, and seven hours to reach Be’eri. Remember Israel is a small place.

When the troops finally arrived, they responded with the Hannibal Directive which involved using force to stop Israelis being taken hostage, even if it meant killing them. Huge numbers of buildings and vehicles were destroyed that day—something Hamas did not have the firepower to achieve.

Hannibal orders were given at multiple sites—the Erez crossing, Re’im base, the Gaza Division headquarters, and the Nahal Oz outpost. At 11:22am, a broader order went out on the division network: “Not a single vehicle can return to Gaza.” Units were later told to stop returns to Gaza “at all costs”.

A Southern Command source told Haaretz that everyone knew the vehicles could be carrying kidnapped civilians or soldiers, and could not tell who was inside. A house was destroyed by an Israeli tank, even though it contained 14 hostages. Most of them died.

On the evening of October 7, Qatar’s prime minister called the Mossad chief. He said Hamas was ready to release all civilian hostages in exchange for the IDF not entering the strip. Israel rejected the offer and continued to refuse one hostage deal after another, much to the dismay of the families. This led to many avoidable hostage deaths which were caused by Israel’s own bombs.

For the longest time, we were told “release the hostages” and this all stops, but the moment the last hostage was freed, the genocide did not stop. The slogan changed from “release the hostages” to “fuck around and find out” because the violence was never about the hostages.

When Israel tells you that October 7 was an atrocity carried out by Hamas, it’s omitting that Netanyahu funnelled $1 billion to Hamas because he wanted this moment. He wanted the excuse to decimate Gaza and push ahead with the Greater Israel project. Zionists are now bragging about how October 7 accelerated their plans for Gaza by 20 years.

Netanyahu was willing to kill his own people on October 7 as pretext for a genocide. That’s not only terrorism, it’s treason, and it’s yet another reason this man belongs behind bars.

( End of article)

And it truly is a genocide. And I firmly believe that anyone who supports these people are also guilty of bloodshed, and certainly, certainly not Christian.

I'm curious. What is your viewpoint on the Allies fighting Hitler during World War 2? I understand 400,000 German civilians died during that war.

I suspect atrocities by the IDF in Gaza but the west is captured by a spiritual blind ideology. Take UK Green Party leader Zak Polanski's remarks in favour of a one nation Palestine where all have equal rights; that Zac is Israel at the moment. thus it cant be genocide.
20% of the population in Israel with citizen's rights are not Jews, and include arab muslims. In fact the non-Jews don't have to do national service. The arab muslims in Israel are better off then the Jews and Christians were under the Islamic Ottoman empire. Whilst the Jews were arguably safer they still paid taxes for being non muslim.
Palestine has only really existed during the 25 years of British Mandate, Palestina under Roman jurisdiction included Judea and Samaria!
Indeed the Gaza area was originally of European rather than semitic; DNA shows the Philistines were.

Patton is alleged to have said shortly before his suspicious demise that we "fought the wrong enemy". I would tend to agree with Him.

"I suspect atrocities by the IDF in Gaza....."

Yes. This is the whole point of the matter. I'm never in agreement with terrorist activity or any groups that wish to cause harm on others.
I believe the government of Israel is no different than Hamas but on steroids.

The Hannibal Directive (also called the Hannibal Procedure or Hannibal Protocol) is a controversial Israel Defense Forces (IDF) military policy designed to prevent the capture of Israeli soldiers by enemy forces, even at the risk of harming or killing the captive soldier.

Core Principle: Summarized by the informal military doctrine that "a dead soldier is better than a kidnapped soldier," the directive mandates opening fire without constraints to stop an abduction in progress

Criticism: Human rights groups, legal experts, and critics argue the directive violates international humanitarian law by intentionally endangering or sacrificing the lives of captured troops and nearby civilians.
( As what occurred on October 7th.....they killed their own people).

To what length will a zionist " christian" go to defend these people? Until every last child is destroyed in Gaza? Lebanon? IRAN?

Their destructive power is many, many times greater than the hang glider/ back pack rocket launcher force of Hamas.

And you know what hurts the most? The country I live in is supplying nearly all of the weaponry.

The government of Israel isnt the same as Hamas. Hamas wants to wipe Israel off the face of the earth, Israel has arab muslim citizens.
God bless Israel in the Land of the Bible!

Amos 9:14-15
14 I will bring back the captives of My people Israel; ... 15 I will plant them in their land, And no longer shall they be pulled up From the land I have given them," Says the LORD your God.

Welcome Home Israel!

You know it's funny how everyone puts so much power or emphasis behind Hamas. I believe that many of you on this forum really have to do a deep dive on who has created all the turmoil in this world, most notably in the last 200 years. About 3 years ago God opened up my eyes in His word as to who the synagogue of Satan was and who Jesus was warning us about.

Revelation 3:9 KJV
Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

Whose feet are they coming to worship before? If you can understand Revelation 3. :7 - 10, to really understand that it speaks of the body of Christ, those who kept the "word of his patience" (v.10).

These people who say they come from Abraham, from the line of Judah and do not, will literally or figuratively WORSHIP AT THE FEET OF ALL BELIEVERS IN JESUS CHRIST. You see when Jesus comes the second time it's the end of the world. There's no games being played here with a literal thousand year sin cursed Kingdom or anything like that. It's the end. "The end of all things is at hand". "And then shall the end come". "An end an end has come upon the four corners of the land".

Jesus never said the end of all things is at hand and then we go into a thousand year period after that, or the end of all things is at hand after we go through the millennium.

What does John the Baptist say?
"Repent ye for the kingdom of heaven is at hand". We go from this current Earth age to a new heaven and a new Earth.

(2Peter 3:8)
But the heavens and the Earth which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

There is not even one hint or suggestion in scripture that there's going to be this thousand year literal period before the day of judgment, before the end, which Martha proclaims as " the resurrection at the last day" in John 11.
The last day is not the "rapture" and then a thousand years and then the last day. That language is nowhere to be found in the Bible.

1st Corinthians 15: 23-26:
But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. [24] Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. [25] For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. [26] The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

In Revelation 3:10 The true believers are kept or preserved during the period of Great Tribulation. In verse 11, Christ comes quickly, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, and then it's the end.

( 2 Corinthians 6;2):
For He says:
“In an acceptable time I have heard you,
and in the day of salvation I have helped you.”
Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

Israel controlled the whole October 7th narrative.
This article is one of many that exposes the truth as to what actually happened that day.

There are some truths mixed in that article, but the conclusions are all speculative. Israeli intelligence knew some type of attack was coming, but they didn't believe Hamas had the intentions or capabilities to carry out an attack at that scale. They believed Hamas would rather preserve its control over Gaza and obtain economic concessions than risk an all-out war. They also observed Hamas training but wrongly concluded an attack was not imminent. Israel's response was slow because the Israeli soldiers that were stationed near the border were in small units and were overwhelmed initially. They simply didn't understand the scale of the attack and were caught unprepared.

So, all this can be attributed to wrong assumptions, poor planning, overconfidence, and ineptitude on Israel's part, not some nefarious plot. Again, there's zero evidence they allowed it to happen. You can get all the facts right and still come to the wrong conclusions because of your anti-Israel bias. So, let me ask you this, what did Israel actually gain? Hamas is still intact, and the Palestinians are still there. They have control of two-thirds of Gaza now, but so what? There's nothing in Gaza worth having. They have gained very little except to be vilified by the world. The incentives for such a conspiracy to be true are just not there.

And it truly is a genocide. And I firmly believe that anyone who supports these people are also guilty of bloodshed, and certainly, certainly not Christian.

I'll give you 13 reasons why that isn't true:

1. The Gaza Health Ministry is not a reliable source of reported civilian causalities. They are controlled by Hamas, who have a vested interest in inflating causalities of war.

2. The UN is not a reliable source of reported civilian causalities. They only parrot the Gaza Health Ministry and have a known history of being biased against Israel.

3. There's been zero outside verification to confirm the actual number of civilian casualties in Gaza.

4. The Gaza Health Ministry makes no distinction between civilians and combatant deaths or whether they died from natural or unnatural causes. They lump all deaths together intentionally. Also. just because someone is under the age of 18 and can be defined as a "child" doesn't mean they can't also be a combatant. Hamas has been known to recruit minors.

5. No reporting that comes out of Gaza can be trusted. Palestinian journalist Motaz Azaiza has admitted that every journalist in Gaza is told what to report on and what not to report on. He himself has suppressed Palestinian mistreatment of Israeli hostages as well as Hamas mistreatment against Palestinians. He admits there is rigid censorship of all speech and images coming out of Gaza. Source

6. Israel unilaterally withdrew from Gaza in 2005 of their own accord. They withdrew their military presence and evacuated all 21 Israeli settlements and 8,000 settlers, some by force. Gaza was allowed to self-govern and select who governed it. So, what happened? In 2006, the Palestinians elected HAMAS, a terrorist organization. Later that year, militants capture an Israeli solider, Gilad Shalit, leading to Israeli military operations. From 2008 to 2022, there was a repeated cycle of rocket fire from Gaza, Israeli military operations, and ceasefires. That ultimately culminated in the 2023 October 7th attack on Israel that killed 1,200 people, mostly civilians. This was the sole reason why the Israeli military went into Gaza, and all the previous times, not the wanton destruction of an entire populace.

7. Israel's method of operation has never to target civilians, their war is with Hamas. To the contrary, they have shown considerable restraint and a desire to avoid or limit civilian casualties. They have given advanced warning of an attack by sending text messages, dropping leaflets, and using media and social media, all to their own detriment. They use precision-guided weapons, smaller munitions, and inert munitions to minimize damage to nearby civilian structures. They have planned their attacks for times of day when there are few civilians nearby and have even aborted attacks due to too many civilians in an area.

8. Hamas likes civilian casualties. They have a reputation for targeting civilians, including their own. It has been documented that Hamas intentionally fire rockets around civilian buildings such as schools and hospitals. For example, there is evidence that Hamas built a tunnel network beneath Al-Shifa Hospital, stored weapons there, and used parts of the hospital. Some Israeli hostages were even taken there after the October 7th attack.

9. Israel has provided humanitarian aid to Gaza in the form of food, medicine, and shelter. They have provided medical support and medical evacuations for the people in Gaza. They have repaired infrastructure, water pipelines, and communications. They supply Israel with water, electricity, and fuel. Gaza is not self-sufficient and would not be able to function if Israel permanently halted all water, electricity, and aid that it provides. The continual flow of aid and support is inconsistent with the actions to eliminate an entire populace.

10. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, Gaza's population has increased from 1.9 million in 2015 to 2.41 million in 2026. That's a 20–25% increase over the decade. Populations don't generally go up during a genocide; they go down. These statics are incompatible with a mass genocide.

11. There are 2.1 million Israeli Palestinians that make up 21% of Israel's population. They are able to serve in everything from Israel's government to military. If the goal was ethnic cleansing, allowing Palestinians to live in Israel proper would be counterproductive and thus not indicative of such a narrative.

12. There are 7.1–7.3M Jews living in Israel proper. There are a combined 7.5–7.7M Palestinians living in Israel proper, Gaza, and the West Bank. The continued presence of such a large, proportional Palestinian population would logically argue against a policy of displacement or elimination.

13. There are actual genocides happening right now in places like the Sudan, Nigeria, China, and Myanmar. Yet, the same people who cry about genocide in Gaza are silent when it comes to actual genocides. That tells me they really don't care about genocides, they only care about about demonizing and villainizing Israel.

Hamas didn't have the ability. They don't have the weaponry. Those cars were blown up by Israeli Apache helicopters not Hamas the houses of the Israeli settlers we're shelled with Israeli tanks. Hamage is a smoke screen. It's a shiny object. It's an excuse to destroy a civilization. Like I said already there are ways to root out the bad guy and it doesn't have to involve removing tens of thousands of people from off the face of the earth. And with that point I made you will never ever convince anyone of the little Schofield Ponzi scheme you are sadly part of.

Thank you for the rely Luther7. However my point was about the secular situation. As far as Hamas are concerned Islam specifically denies Jesus as part of its religion ie Isa did not die on the cross and isnt God the Son, as whilst the Jews deny Jesus as their Messiah, He is.
I am not quite sure what you are suggesting. As to the turmoil in the world, that's Satan for sure, but we are all susceptible to Satan, as Jesus told Peter.

I second Jericho's post #17
