And concerning Israel, Paul asked, “Hath God cast away his people? God forbid” (Romans 11:1). God's promises have not been canceled, but neither does that mean every action of the modern Israeli government is righteous or that anyone can be saved apart from Christ.

My question is simple. Where does Scripture authorize us to turn Christ's feet into the church or the Mount of Olives into something other than the mountain God specifically named?

We should be interpreting Scripture by Scripture, not replacing its plain meaning with ideas the text never teaches.

I have pointed it out several times in different places that Israel was attacked and is being attacked by these people, all of this will end, I fear, in the next election cycle. There is only ONE Jerusalem that Christians should be seeking.....the HEAVENLY JERUSALEM. Jesus Christ will reign in the new heaven and earth. Not the Jerusalem of judaism. That's what you've been indoctrinated into believing, I'm afraid. You see, They were the first to believe in and earthly millennial Kingdom of their messiah. They just happened to do a very good job of bringing you along for the ride. They do need your support. Israel will be nothing without the Zionist Christian.

But some high-ranking Israeli leaders were shocked by this too. Their President Isaac Herzog said he did not expect it at all.
