And still no answer to one of my many questions. Again, are you a Christian?

The term has come to be so closely associated with hypocrisy that it can have no other meaning. I know of no one who holds the title who follows in Christ's footsteps. No, I am not a Christian, and never will be. It is a pointless label. The only thing it is good for is in rejecting those who use it. Whenever someone points out that they're a Christian, I run the other way. Christians never answer a direct question. Case in point: you. Christians fabricate nonsense out of whole cloth. Again, you provide a prime example with your own private definition of a parable.

I've wasted too much time already with your nonsense. Ignored.

All that I posted in reply to you, and this is all you can reply back.

No comment on whether your comment "do you think it's about bread" means the verse should be taken anything other than as an analogy, such as literally?

Hmm, Christian is a pointless label. You do know that Christians who follow Jesus are not perfect, are sinners. That's the whole point. That is what makes Jesus the leader - He is perfect, He is sinless. Therefore, it is not pointless to follow Jesus. And being a follower of Jesus Christ, that is, a Christian, is not a title. I'm not sure where you got the information that "Christian" is a title. Care to elaborate?

So you're not a Christian, and then say "whenever someone points out that they're a Christian, I run the other way", except for you interacting with Christians on a Christian-focused forum. Except that for that, right? What were you saying about other's hypocricy again?

Christians never answer a direct question? Huh, I think I've answered all of your questions, while I've pointed out that you haven't answered many questions of mine to you. It took three times to get you to answer a simple yes/no on whether you are a Christian or not. I can prove that "Christians never answer a direct question" is a false statment. You use false statements, false assumptions and claims that you can't possibly know the answer to, and false accusations in your aresenal against others.

As to my own "private definition of a parable", this false. A parable is a type of analogy. In the example you used, "beware of the leaven of the pharisees", you admitted it is not literal, with your question "do you think it's about bread"; therefore, it's an analogy, which is what a parable is.

I hope and pray you find your way to Jesus Christ, and He covers your sins and saves you from Hell.

And to further prove that I don't have my "own private definition of a parable", I've found many sources that state the the "beware of the leavan of the pharisees" is a parable.

One source states it is a "concentrated parable":
"Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees.--The form of the warning was obviously determined by the fact just narrated. The Master saw the perplexed looks and heard the self reproaching or mutually accusing whispers of the disciples, and made them the text of a proverb which was a concentrated parable."

Matthew 16:6 "Watch out!" Jesus told them. "Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees."

And also The Parables of Matthew 13 (Part Five): The Parable of the Leaven (though that uses Matthew 13's verse on the "Parable of the Leaven")

You are a false accuser ("accuse me of fabricating nonsense out of whole cloth", and your information is wrong. The verse, and the chapter, is a parable (concentrated parable for the verse).

But you won't see this because you run and hide after you refuse to answer questions (which you accuse others of doing when it is you doing it - projection at its finest) or are proven wrong yet do not admit it, while accusing others of doing the same (hypocricy).
