Hey forum,

I was wondering, do you think it is possible to have a thought life that is so terribly blasphemic that one ends up going to hell due to all the evil thoughts they had? Would God send anyone to hell who had really bad blasphemic thoughts on their mind every day? Or does God only count actions and spoken words against the person?

If the vessel is full of corruption..... with nothing at all in it except what God hates....

God will do as He says.

Yes, the thought and following action are very simple. It thinks and says No to Jesus.
The ultimate blasphemy, to reject salvation.

But does God ever look at a person's thoughts and say

"Your thoughts are unpardonable"

?

If He Wants To. Yes.

(He Mentions This Also Somewhere IN HIS WORD)

like - they lie on their beds at night, only thinking of more wickednesses to do , planning wickedness all the time ....

WRONG.

There is NO thought or action that is "unpardonable" other than refusal of the Holy Spirit (final impenitence).
That is what Jesus was talking about when He rebuked the pharisees in Matt. 12:32.

As long as we have breath in us - we can repent of ANY sin.

What often happens is that a lying demon will put thoughts into your mind and trick you into believing that they are thoughts from your own heart. It will do this to derail your faith. Therefore if you are not aware of what is happening, you will then fall into doubt, and then that same lying spirit will drop a condemnation bomb on you by telling you the lie that God now hates you because of the thoughts.

But because there is a conflict within you about those thoughts, which would not be there if you weren't genuinely born again of the Spirit of God, it shows that your heart is reacting against the thoughts and your spirit is saying to you that the thoughts are evil and therefore not consistent with your heart which loves holiness and hates sin.

What I do when I get a thought that I know is not from the Holy Spirit, I say to the Lord, "That does not come from your Holy Spirit, so I renounce it!" And the thought vanishes immediately along with the negative feeling that comes with it. Sometimes I will have a day dream which is not good, and I will say to the Lord, "That is just imagination" and the day dream disappears.

"For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:4-5).

In general, yes. Because, first of all, nothing will be hidden from His sight, and secondly, the heart is the only thing that counts to God, more than actions (we can do the right thing, for the wrong reason, and visa-versa), and thus, blasphemy is blasphemy.
But, what I find is that God will expose this, He will eventually bring this out in you in your actions and words. Not for His sake, but for yours. Just like that the tree in Eden, it was not for God to discover the first human's heart, but for them and us to see ourselves.
Therefore FO, if you are truly having these thoughts, and they are veritably blasphemous (as opposed to improper or indecent), then something is extremely wrong with your faith. Maybe you're using the word 'blasphemous' as sinful, or wicked? But if not, and you are correct, it's time for a faith check.
i.e. What do you believe about God & Christ, about man's need for repentance, about God's grace and salvation, about Christ's love and perfection...?
What, and how much do you understand of these principles?

Luke 8:17
For nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest, nor is anything secret that will not be known and come to light.

Luke 12:2-3
Nothing is covered up that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. Therefore whatever you have said in the dark shall be heard in the light, and what you have whispered in private rooms shall be proclaimed on the housetops.

1 Corinthians 4:5
Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then each one will receive his commendation from God.

Ecclesiastes 12:14
For God will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil.

Matthew 10:26
“So have no fear of them, for nothing is covered that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known.

Maybe. it's just that these thoughts sometimes enter my mind fully formed and I have to witness them

Question the source. Don't get overly concerned if they're not blasphemous, but address them either way, ...but do take it very seriously if they are authentically blasphemy.

I don't know if ots blasphemy necessarily but it makes me question Gods willingness, ability, and casts doubt on His love and His plans.

So if that's blasphemy I guess

I guess its assumed Jesus meant we should be able to do this 110% of our every waking moment. To those people, I just say good luck with that.

We all have these doubts and concerns, especially the first and second greatest commandments, to fulfill those would be perfection. Only Christ, so far, loved God that way, which is why he is our saviour.
I'm not saying don't aspire to it, in fact, that should be our sole purpose in life, trying to achieve that perfection.
But, along the way, we all fail miserably. No one changes simply upon becoming born-again, for Jesus saves sinners, not the perfect. Paul rebuked many of his Churches for their imperfections.
Don't get overly self-righteous or idealistic. But, never lose sight of the goal, to remain in the faith, and strive for perfection, ...for it's one of the best testimonies to others, and pleases God and man.
