What required for going to Heaven?

Yes, I firmly believe that a person must be a member of the Roman Catholic Church for salvation. Pope Eugene IV, Council of Florence, ex cathedra: “… no one, even if he has shed blood in the name of Christ, can be saved, unless he has remained in the bosom and unity of the Catholic Church.”...

    God Died on the Cross

I voted yes. It's true that God died on the cross because Jesus Christ is one (and only one) Person. Even though He couldn't die in His divine nature, His human body died. Whatever happens to His humanity truly happens to God because He is one Person.

    Whats your favorite verse?

Matthew 16:18-19- “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bounds in heaven: and...

    If you had to choose

It would be the first Epistle of St. John. He writes about divine love and charity towards our neighbor; the mysteries of the Trinity and the Incarnation; how we may distinguish the children of God from the children of the devil; he defines Antichrist; he describes the malice and gravity of sin...

    Unforgivable

All sins can be forgiven. What about the blasphemy of the Spirit? Matthew 12:31: "Therefore I say to you: Every sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven men, but the blasphemy of the Spirit shall not be forgiven."

    Lord's prayer

Here's what St. Augustine (A.D. 354-430) had to say regarding the Our Father prayer:

    What Is Prayer?

"Prayer is an aspiration of the heart," said St. Therese de Lisieux, "it is a simple glance directed to heaven, it is a cry of gratitude and love in the midst of trial as well as joy; finally, it is something great, supernatural, which expands my soul and unites me to Jesus."

st paul long after his conversion said he was the worst of sinners

Yes, I believe the Bible. No, I don't believe St. Paul was the worst of sinners. Here's why. Let's look at St. Paul's words in 1 Tim. 1:15: "A faithful saying and worthy of all exception: That Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the chief." This verse is one of...

    To learn the true gospel

I only mean to ask you to elaborate a little further. Why do you believe Brother Peter's analysis of the Apocalypse is wrong? If you have a more plausible explanation, like you said you did, then what is it? I'm glad you took the time to watch it. I wish others would make time to watch it too.

Was Nelson Mandela a Christian? Yes or No

No, he wasn't a Christian. Nelson Mandela was one of the most ardent supporters of killing babies. He signed into law a bill legalizing abortion on demand.

    To learn the true gospel

That's incorrect. Brother Peter demonstrates how the "woman clothed with the sun" is actually the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Great Red Dragon is Communism. Europa is the woman on the beast. You disagree with almost everything in the video. Do you have a more plausible explanation of the...

    The Great Apostasy

Luke 18:18: "But yet the Son of man, when he cometh, shall he find, think you, faith on earth?" In the Gospel, our Lord Jesus Christ informs us that in the last days the true Faith would hardly be found on earth. He tells us that in "the holy place" itself there will be "the abomination of...

Lord, For Tomorrow and Its Needs

Lord, for tomorrow and its needs I do not pray; Keep me, my God, from stain of sin, Just for today. Let me both diligently work And duly pray; Let me be kind in word and deed, Just for today. Let me be slow to do my will, Prompt to obey; Help me to mortify my flesh, Just for today. Let me no...

To Win My Heart With Visions Bright And Fair

To win my heart with vision bright and fair. In vain the world with all its craft has tried. Harmless and weak its dazzling weapons are; I nothing fear with Jesus at my side I nothing fear with Jesus at my side Come all ye proud ones of the earth, array Your gathering hosts around me far and...

Let him take up his cross

Let him take up his cross, the one that is his. Let that man (or woman) so rare far beyond the price of pearls, take up his cross joyfully, embrace it lovingly, and carry it courageously on his shoulders, his own cross, and not that of another - his own cross which I, in My wisdom, designed for...

    Praying the Rosary

Even Jesus was born of a woman, so how is it that John can be greater while still being least in the Kingdom of Heaven? This is something to consider. Please think about that. Because truth does not contradict truth, you may be sure that you have made a mistake in your interpretation of the...

    Praying the Rosary

That great saint and Doctor of the Church, St. Bernard, said that we should not imagine that we obscure the glory of the Son by the great praise we lavish on the Mother; for the more she is honored, the greater is the glory of her Son. :) Devotion to the Mother of God is nothing new. Jesus...

    A real Christian ?

Saint Basil once asked what the mark of love is for our neighbor. He said that it is not to seek what is for our own benefit, but what is for the benefit of the one loved, both in body and soul.
