Has a Christian essentially DENIED the faith if they're constantly jerks to others?

It apparently takes into the afterlife for many or maybe even "most" to be saved. We are most fortunate and blessed to receive faith and salvation in this life.

Has a Christian essentially DENIED the faith if they're constantly jerks to others?

Our church "home" is in the body of believers who follow Christ. Be thankful for that because most people have not received the blessing of faith. You are most blessed.

The Hell Doctrine - No doctrinal unity

Jesus referred to some of them as swine, but not necessarily to their face. You and I know that atheists are our brothers and sisters to whom God has not yet revealed the son.

The Hell Doctrine - No doctrinal unity

As ALL in Adam died so in Jesus ALL live. That's what you're misunderstanding.

The Hell Doctrine - No doctrinal unity

Yes, but they don't remain there FOREVER.

The Hell Doctrine - No doctrinal unity

    The scriptures say otherwise.

The Hell Doctrine - No doctrinal unity

I think some will be tossed into the Lake of Fire and they're going to suffer but they will also be purified and they will repent and go to Jesus.

The Hell Doctrine - No doctrinal unity

We've been through this numerous times. It's ok. It's not a salvational issue. You're not going to be condemned for believing that Jesus is an unforgiving sadist that tortures people forever.

The Hell Doctrine - No doctrinal unity

That's not what Paul said. You are mischaracterizing the word of God to make it fit the false doctrine of forever punishment. Here's another. Isaiah 45: 23 By myself I have sworn from my mouth has gone out in righteousness a word that shall not return ‘To me every knee shall bow, every...

The Hell Doctrine - No doctrinal unity

As I said, my brother, you misunderstand.

The Hell Doctrine - No doctrinal unity

Amen. As Jesus said, the Gates of Hell will NOT stop Jesus's church nor will they prevent Jesus from saving ALL people. :)

The Hell Doctrine - No doctrinal unity

Correct and, eventually, ALL that ever lived will proclaim that Jesus is Lord! That's what 1 Corinthians 15 tells us.

The Hell Doctrine - No doctrinal unity

Not all are saved from the Lake of Fire but all are saved from forever death. If that's untrue, then 1 Timothy 4:10, 1 Corinthians 15:22, and a whole bunch of other verses are false.

The Hell Doctrine - No doctrinal unity

@CadyandZoe Here's another. All means all. 1 Corinthians 15:22 ESV 22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.

The Hell Doctrine - No doctrinal unity

My understanding is that the ages will end once we are all with God in his kingdom, so it is finite, but I'm open to being persuaded otherwise.
  17. Patrick1966

The Hell Doctrine - No doctrinal unity

That's exactly what he's saying. Jesus will save ALL people from forever death.
