Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

Ok, after His future coming, why is the rod of iron needed? The unsaved would be in the LOF and there is no sorrow, crying, or pain in the NHNE.

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

The Premils seem to be saying the ruling with the rod of iron takes place in the millennium, not happening now. Your comment about the good Shepherd defending the flock by whacking the wolves would have to be taking place in an Amil millennium (currently), right? If so then wouldn’t that place...

The end of the world, as taught by Christ, separates the wicked from the just at the harvest, and it is coming for you.

John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Are you implying that a person who just plays like they are a believer is actually born of water and Spirit? And that’s how they get into the kingdom?

The end of the world, as taught by Christ, separates the wicked from the just at the harvest, and it is coming for you.

I completely agree, it makes absolutely no sense to have the tares represent all the lost. If that were the case then they should be thinking that people like Hitler should’ve never have been fought against, we should’ve let him grow together with the wheat. Another thing I’ve seen the Amils...

You’re absolutely right, deception is written all over @Spiritual Israelite posts. Here’s what I have learned about him so far, sometimes a verse needs to be interpreted in such a way that it doesn’t agree with any other verses, even if it contains the very same wording as other verses. We...

The end of the world, as taught by Christ, separates the wicked from the just at the harvest, and it is coming for you.

I do agree with Jesus spiritually dwelling in us, the point I was making was that I can claim there was a coming of Jesus at anytime I want using your logic. You don’t seem to understand that once you accept a certain method of interpretation we should be able to apply that method elsewhere...

The end of the world, as taught by Christ, separates the wicked from the just at the harvest, and it is coming for you.

So I guess you have no issues with someone claiming Christ came in 70AD since you have no problem with Him currently actually being here on earth sowing in His field which is the physical planet.

The end of the world, as taught by Christ, separates the wicked from the just at the harvest, and it is coming for you.

I differentiate between Jesus and the Holy Spirit. God is omnipresent so no one can argue against Jesus currently being on earth, but I try to follow the wording that the scriptures use and that is that Jesus is seated at the right hand of God until His enemies are made His footstool. I suppose...

The end of the world, as taught by Christ, separates the wicked from the just at the harvest, and it is coming for you.

I’m not, the world is the planet, that’s where the field was. Is it really that difficult for you? Wrong! In Matthew 13:37 the word “sowing” <4687> is a present tense verb, so we know the Son of man was sowing in His field when He spoke those words, prior to the cross. Wrong again, this is why...

The end of the world, as taught by Christ, separates the wicked from the just at the harvest, and it is coming for you.

I’m talking about the phrase “the field is the world”. That statement was made prior to the cross, when the sowing took place. If you think that meant that Jesus had possession of the entire world prior to the cross then you need to provide the verses that show that. I showed you Psalm 2:8...

The end of the world, as taught by Christ, separates the wicked from the just at the harvest, and it is coming for you.

Jesus sowed on this planet, not in heaven, which is why the parable describes the field as the world. In Matthew 13:37 the word “sowing” <4687> is a present tense verb, so we know the Son of man was sowing in His field when He spoke those words. He was physically on the planet at that time...

The end of the world, as taught by Christ, separates the wicked from the just at the harvest, and it is coming for you.

Here’s the thing, we know those under the burden of the old covenant were allowed to continue in their practices by the apostles. That fits the parable where the wheat allowed the tares to grow together until a 70AD harvest took place.

No, under the new covenant only believers can enter the kingdom. I’m a believer and have entered the kingdom. You have to have two kingdoms in order to get the unsaved into the kingdom before they finally get removed at a future harvest.

The end of the world, as taught by Christ, separates the wicked from the just at the harvest, and it is coming for you.

Let me ask you this, in Matthew 13:28-30 the servants are instructed to not gather up the tares lest they root up the wheat also. Should Christians have not fought against Hitler, should they have wanted to let him grow together until the harvest?

The end of the world, as taught by Christ, separates the wicked from the just at the harvest, and it is coming for you.

Right, you need to have two separate kingdoms of God to make this parable work for the Amil position.

In post #6 you have the tares entering the kingdom when the kingdoms of this world become the kingdoms of our Lord. The tares are sown in His field. Does Jesus loose possession of His field then regain it again?

So pre mills actually think when they come down to this earth after a rapture, their stuff left behind will still be there?

If you don’t want to accept the reason given in that verse then don’t. I’m not going to try to convince you of what is clearly stated in that verse.

The end of the world, as taught by Christ, separates the wicked from the just at the harvest, and it is coming for you.

Understanding the parable that way creates the problem of there being no reasonable explanation for how the tares get into the kingdom.

The end of the world, as taught by Christ, separates the wicked from the just at the harvest, and it is coming for you.

And for you to assume that parable has to be about you is a very arrogant position to take.
