    Can a tare become saved?

From God’s perspective only He knows who is or isn’t a tare and from God’s perspective tares should not be pulled or killed by anyone or any angel lest wheat is pulled or killed also. Why would any Christian not want to do the will of God? If it’s God’s will that a person like Hitler be allowed...

    Can a tare become saved?

Well clearly Jesus calls believing a work. So salvation has to come first else its a works gospel. Oh, and don’t tell me what my doctrine is, I’ll tell you. That’s how we are supposed to treat each other, right?

    Can a tare become saved?

John 9:3Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him. 4I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. 5As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. These...

    Can a tare become saved?

Ok, so per your view there are no goats or tares in the millennium or Satan’s little season? They all got separated and removed at the second coming? I’m not arguing against that view, I just want to make sure I understand it.

    Can a tare become saved?

I see the tares being sown as a one time event, then Satan went his way. That sowing took place prior to the cross and those literal people were separated, never to exist again among the wheat.

    Can a tare become saved?

Sure, so do you place the tares and wheat getting separated after Satan’s little season? Or do you see the tares existing throughout the millennium and Satan’s little season?

    Can a tare become saved?

Ok, that’s a good point. The Jews were dispersed in 70AD and if they were tares, then that Diaspora shouldn’t have happened, they should’ve been allowed to grow together.

    Can a tare become saved?

In the parable the servants don’t even recognize tares were sown until the blade was sprung up and brought forth fruit. Who are the servants in the parable? If they are the angels then we would have to conclude the angels aren’t aware of Satan’s activities and the angels don’t know who is or...

    Can a tare become saved?

Well you just pointed out why some people do see a coming and a harvest in 70AD. There is quite a bit of scripture that points to something happening when the old covenant economy (age) vanished and within that literal generation. It’s not like people are obsessed with 70AD, any more than...

    Can a tare become saved?

I still agree that the parable should be viewed from God’s perspective. However I have a different interpretation than you do, based on my interpretation a person like Hitler should’ve been stopped and we did the right thing in WWII. A simple question for you, should we let someone like Hitler...

    Can a tare become saved?

Right, a person has to be saved first then they do the work of believing. A verse such as John 3:16 is telling us that if we are doing the work of believing then that is the evidence we are saved, it’s not saying we do the work of believing first then we become saved.

    Can a tare become saved?

How many times does it have to be shown to you that interpreting the parable that way has to be incorrect? If the word “world” means the entire planet then someone like Hitler should’ve been allowed to grow and increase with the rest of the world. Do you think we made a mistake in WWII? That is...

    Can a tare become saved?

John 6:28Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? 29Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. Believing is work.

    Can a tare become saved?

That’s an interesting thought. The old covenant was definitely bilateral where God and man each had duties to perform. I would say the new covenant is unilateral where God performs and man reacts to that. I’m thinking of Jeremiah 31:33 I will put my law in their minds and write it on their...

Premillennialism contradicts scripture (1 Corinthians 15:50-54) by having mortal flesh and blood inheriting the kingdom of God when Jesus returns.

We already discussed that verse … @Spiritual Israelite believes a person can lose their salvation, I personally don’t but that’s beside the point. Edit: oops, if forgot I can’t say anything about @Spiritual Israelite ‘s view. You’ll have to ask him directly if you want his view on whether...

Premillennialism contradicts scripture (1 Corinthians 15:50-54) by having mortal flesh and blood inheriting the kingdom of God when Jesus returns.

Back to the topic of the thread and immortal’s inheriting the kingdom. A tare can’t be put in the barn unless it becomes wheat, wheat can’t be burned in the fire unless it becomes a tare. A mortal can’t live forever unless they become immortal, an immortal can’t die unless they become mortal...

Premillennialism contradicts scripture (1 Corinthians 15:50-54) by having mortal flesh and blood inheriting the kingdom of God when Jesus returns.

By definition wheat is not a tare and by definition tares are not wheat, but that didn’t stop you from claiming they can become each other. Now you are claiming the definition of immortal prevents it from ever becoming mortal. I hope you can at least see why people are going to be questioning...

Premillennialism contradicts scripture (1 Corinthians 15:50-54) by having mortal flesh and blood inheriting the kingdom of God when Jesus returns.

Ok, so let’s go back and look at the tares and wheat. It’s impossible for a wheat plant to ever become a tare plant. Just like it’s impossible for something that is immortal to become mortal. But I can argue from man’s perspective it is possible for someone to loose immortality just like it’s...

Premillennialism contradicts scripture (1 Corinthians 15:50-54) by having mortal flesh and blood inheriting the kingdom of God when Jesus returns.

Sure, I’ll admit I can’t make sense of your view, therefore I don’t know what you believe. No, I don’t deny that, but that has nothing to do with a parable that is written from God’s perspective, else the parable is not written from God’s perspective. Ok, everyone who is reading this post, I...

Premillennialism contradicts scripture (1 Corinthians 15:50-54) by having mortal flesh and blood inheriting the kingdom of God when Jesus returns.

You claim that often but all I can tell you is that is how I perceive it. So maybe try doing a better job of presenting your method of interpretation, like showing why the vice versa swapping only applies to certain parables. I mean, what are the rules you use when making a vice versa swap and...
