Was the Transfiguration a vision, or an actual appearance of Moses and Elijah?

Yes, all but the evil, which then makes for a profit

Examining the supposed "Whole Bible" view. - No consensus?

Scripture, the word of God, i.e. the Bible, is like a glacier ticking down ever so slowly "precept upon precept, line upon line, here a little there a little." Only some of which is visible or written in full measure. And that portion of all that is actually written? Is confused [by God] right...

Did Jesus say that adultery is grounds for divorce? - Nope.

@St. SteVen @Aunty Jane Addressing some of the original posts: This topic certainly makes for good word study, and the defining of original language, etc. However, to avoid the common pitfalls of language confused by God, it is more important to consider what the words represent. In other...

Was the Transfiguration a vision, or an actual appearance of Moses and Elijah?

It is as it is written: "Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, And the spirit will return to God who gave it" (Ecclesiastes 12:7). Meaning, that since God "is the same yesterday, today, and forever", those who's spirit is of God are in God...the same as they were, are, and shall ever...

Vision Of A Loaf Of Bread Thrown Into The Sea

The sea is as the spirit. The Word is cast into the spirit, but many only come to fill their stomachs, the desires of the flesh.

Was the Transfiguration a vision, or an actual appearance of Moses and Elijah?

God spoke all the world and universe into existence. Why then does anyone not believe He can make two men appear, whether in the flesh or in the spirit? Either is a lack of faith in God. Our response should be, "Of course, one or the other is true--for He is God!" The greater question then, is...

    The Placebo Vision

The harm of false teaching is temporal, except for those who teach it. As for "fervor", there is fervor and then there is fervor (by the Holy Spirit).

What does it mean for Jesus did not come to destroy the law. But rather, Jesus came to fulfil the law

Another way to consider the Law of God being fulfilled (especially for those who are not versed in the scriptures), is that when Jesus said while dying on the cross, "It is finished", all that was lost at the fall in the garden of Eden, was regained for those who receive it.

    YOU MIGHT BE DECEIVED IF...

    9. ... If you do not expect to be corrected on much of what has been taught and believed for the past 2,000 years, "in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound" (Revelation 10:7).

Scripture Revelation That Many Throw Out About the Future 1,000 Years Reign by Christ

Not so. Jesus died--yes; and rose again in His flesh body--yes. But that body of flesh could not and "cannot inherit the kingdom of heaven." But what of His flesh body--is it not written? Yes--it is! It was and is just as He said, "Take, eat, this is My body." Which was then confirmed by Paul...

Scripture Revelation That Many Throw Out About the Future 1,000 Years Reign by Christ

All have always been spiritual--it's all spiritual. But keep chipping away, there are still a few things you are not getting, namely: The timing of the Lord's coming and the thousand years.

    Why believe left leaning ideologies?

One of the great business models is to: "Find a need, and fill it." Yes, there is a void in the heart of man to be filled, and we cannot rest until we have done a satisfying job of trying to fill it--which takes on many forms, both good and evil. Unfortunately. Thus, those who are God's have a...

The meaning behind the 153 Fish

This is one of those passages that has a local context that is not the eternal context. In other words, yes, one could look at the words simply as a chronicling report of those historic events--or as words pointing to or describing a greater context and why God engineered those historic events...

    Futurists Even Mis-Interpret Paul's 1 Thessalonians 4 Rapture

One verse?...you mean like John 3:16? You mean like every word from God when He says "but", "thus", or "therefore?" --But no, that is simply the qualifying verse, the verse that "but" clarifies the whole matter. Let's look at your explanation verses: 1 Corinthians 15:24-28 24 Then comes the...

Jerusalem Council And How Its Decision Was Distorted By The Church

I have quoted both above posts, because the latter causes need for correction: The law of Moses was specifically given to Israel for a time, was "the law of sin and death" (Romans 8:2). But when death came in Christ, the law of sin and death was fulfilled. Meaning, going forward, the law was...

    The Placebo Vision

Just as there is no power in false gods, ultimately there is also no power in false teaching (for those who love the Lord).

Ezekiel's temple never made, and that was Israel's choice due to circumstances after the return from Babylon

The answer is way back in Ezekiel 34...referring to, and as a prophecy of, Matthew 25:32: Ezekiel 34:17: ‘And as for you, O My flock, thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I shall judge between sheep and sheep, between rams and goats. Matthew 25:32: All the nations will be gathered before Him, and...

    Futurists Even Mis-Interpret Paul's 1 Thessalonians 4 Rapture

How do you (personally) reconcile 1 Corinthians 15:23, which says, "every" [one] "man?" 1Co 15:23 But G1161 every man G1538 in G1722 his own G2398 order: G5001 Christ G5547 the firstfruits; G536 afterward G1899 they that are G3588 Christ's G5547 at G1722 his G846 coming. G3952 ἕκαστος...

The false doctrines of the Preterist and Futurist interpretation

Quite the mess. And so it was to be...until just before the sounding of the seventh angel, and the finish of the mystery of God as He declared to His servants the prophets.
