    This is talking about David, who was already in relationship with God. It is not about seeking God initially. It's about seeking God after a period of rebellion.

    Agreed. The Lord is going to SAVE Jerusalem when He returns, not destroy it.

    I believe God tests our faith in order to prove to the evil one that our faith and love towards God is genuine. What other reasons does God have for testing our faith?

    I sincerely doubt that. Babylon is the world financial/religious system run by the devil.
