propitiation by His blood, through faith

*** Got it. You are saying that Jesus' work on the cross only makes salvation possible then a person has to obey the law and stop sinning to earn it.. You twist the word of God for your idea. The word of God says His shed blood paid for the sins of the whole world but you wish to change it...

propitiation by His blood, through faith

*** Because of """unbelief""". If a person does not belief Jesus has paid for his/her sins then they are just as Eve in the garden. They do not believe what God has said about His Son and therefore are in a state of unbelief.

propitiation by His blood, through faith

Through faith only demonstrates His righteousness. Rom 3:25-26 25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, 26 to demonstrate at the present time...

    The Righteous

Faith = belief I think your point is that we are saved by our works and not by faith only. IMO that is salvation by the works of man and not by what Jesus did on the cross. But the religious want credit for what they do to be saved just as Cain did.

Jesus teaches His disciples to preach the gospel...

It is a fact that no one reaches out to God until they know that they sin and can not keep God's perfect laws. Isn't that repentance??? In the following isn't the tax collector repenting??? Luke 18:10-14 10 "Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax...

ONLY ONE GOSPEL ? Or Not

Paul is the only one that was specifically sent to the Gentiles. If you believe the word of God you will see that. But some wish to ignore this fact and base what they believe on the OT, the 4 gospels and some of the book of Acts. Those that have placed their belief, faith, trust and...

ONLY ONE GOSPEL ? Or Not

LOL, my own self-interest does not extend to the point where the gospel of self works to become like God has any pull on me because it isn't the truth. Salvation is the work of God, not man.

ONLY ONE GOSPEL ? Or Not

*** You would do well to study the words written by Paul since Jesus Himself sent him to the world to preach it.

ONLY ONE GOSPEL ? Or Not

*** I personally think you are confused. Dispensationalism is not a theology. It is how we study the word of God. We don't mix what is said to those in an age with those said to those of another age and try to bring it into a theology. But I am sure I am wasting my time trying to explain...

“I will shew thee my faith by my works.“

Thanks for your permission to remain as I am.

“I will shew thee my faith by my works.“

*** Well, obviously you think you have been made privy to something. Thank you for your input but I will just ignore the thoughts behind them.

“I will shew thee my faith by my works.“

Some think that good works are what a person does in religions and it usually means keeping the law. Good works are not works of the hands of mankind. God has already said our good works are as filthy rags. But the child of god is humble, not judgmental, understanding that they are not better...

“I will shew thee my faith by my works.“

*** I don't know where you get your idea that dispensationaism """"denies""" that "IN CHRIST" there is no difference between people. It upholds the idea that "IN CHRIST" there is no difference between people. It does teach that their was a change in how a person is saved today. It is a fact...

ONLY ONE GOSPEL ? Or Not

*** REALLY!!!! are you healing the sick are you keeping the law. Jesus said that no man could keep the law but I bet you don't know where that is found in the 4 gospels. Do you home work and look it up.
  15. H. Richard

ONLY ONE GOSPEL ? Or Not

*** It is error only in your mind, not mine. God promised the Jews a physical kingdom on this earth for a thousand years. You are saying He didn't. That is error. I am sure you believe what you wrote. But I don't. God knows the heart of His children. They don't have to prove anything to...

ONLY ONE GOSPEL ? Or Not

There was a gospel (good news) to Israel that the promised kingdom was at hand (because Jesus was the kingdom). That gospel has been put aside, because of unbelief, until the age of the Gentiles is completed. During the age of the Gentiles there is another gospel (good news) and it is a gospel...

    CAIN, ABEL, and PRIDE

In the law, which was given long after Cain and Abel, God said there is no remission of sins without the shedding of blood. However, Paul used the account of Abraham being righteous, before the law was given, because he believed what God said. IMHO, Abel was accepted because his offering was...

    CAIN, ABEL, and PRIDE

IMHO the record of Abel and Cain's offering to God is the same as the events today. Abel had faith (trust) in what God said. He did not offer up any of his works. Faith plus nothing and God accepted it. Cain offered up the works of his hands and God did not accept it. Faith in his works and...

“I will shew thee my faith by my works.“

*** You are doing this; Heb 10:28-29 28 Anyone who has rejected Moses' law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by...

    CAIN, ABEL, and PRIDE

You are right but that is not the point I am presenting. This thread is about one man's pride. It was Cain's pride that murdered Abel. What I see is so beyond what most think. Those who follow James statement faith without works only have to open their eyes to see that James was full of...
