    Hidden Mysteries of the Bible

Conversations often have an ebb and flow I find. But now you've decided to pull the off topic card just because you are afraid to come into the light and answer one question. It's you who have dragged out one question into several off topic posts when you could have simply answered in one...

    Hidden Mysteries of the Bible

Why are you always making me the subject of discussion instead of discussing the subject? I know why and hope it is evident to others as well. You do that because you can't refute the simple truth that is being brought. But why such unwillingness to receive and acknowledge the truth.....is it...

    Hidden Mysteries of the Bible

Wow. So you are determined to keep hiding. We can draw our own conclusions as to why that is. A teacher who is unwilling to teach. That is strange because I would have thought this would be right up your alley since you talk about holiness a lot. Do you know that holiness means to be...

    Hidden Mysteries of the Bible

I only understand those scriptures by the Spirit, Epi. It is understanding that HE has given me. I didn't receive it from man. Anyone can accuse anyone of dogmatic beliefs and indoctrination without providing any evidence at all. So what is your understanding of those scrips? If you feel...

    Hidden Mysteries of the Bible

@Episkopos.........I'd like to ask what are your thoughts about those scriptures which say friendship with the world is enmity with God, and that we are not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers but to come out from among them and be separate? I've mentioned those passages more than once...

    Hidden Mysteries of the Bible

Amen brother. Apostasy......the strong delusion. Sobering to remember that it is being sent by God to all who received not a love of the truth. He is on the throne sovereignly ruling even though it may look like the enemy has the upper hand. Interfaith for Christians means being unequally...

    Hidden Mysteries of the Bible

I’m sure we have no disagreement with faith that moves God, and that David had faith and was a man after God's heart. Christ’s power/authority/rulership and the kingdom are delegated to those who have faith, they go hand in hand, but I’m not sure it can be said that power/authority is the same...

    Hidden Mysteries of the Bible

Yes, it is possible to fall away or be spewn out, and it's sadly happening to most of the church in our time.

    Hidden Mysteries of the Bible

We are accepted IN the Beloved. So, being IN Him, IN Christ the Beloved, we are accepted because He is accepted and His offering/sacrifice on our behalf was accepted. HE is the cleft of the rock in which we are hid from God's consuming fire/wrath. But we do have responsibilities. If we love...

    Hidden Mysteries of the Bible

Hmmm, so you believe the key of David has nothing to do with the power/authority and kingship of Jesus and that where the bible mentioned the key of David it is talking about "sensitivity to the Spirit". And here's me thinking it is a Messianic prophecy, formerly hidden in the Eliakim...

    Hidden Mysteries of the Bible

The key of David is laid upon His shoulder.......like where it says elsewhere the government (kingship) shall be upon His shoulder. It represents the power and authority given to Him by the Father to both open and shut, to loose and to bind. All authority (power) in heaven and earth given to...

The 4 Eternal Destinies of Humankind

Amen, Jesus and the apostles only ever talk about two destinies.....either life (eternal) or death (also eternal).

    Hidden Mysteries of the Bible

Rita, I found some things in the bible on the key of David and opening and shutting, and hope you'll find it edifying as I did: Isa 22:20-24 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will call my servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah: And I will clothe him with thy robe, and strengthen him...

    Hidden Mysteries of the Bible

I said "unnecessarily". You didn't read my post very carefully, it seems. It was just a little thought that came to mind. We should avoid stepping on people and causing them to be offended for reasons that have nothing to do with the message. Otherwise that will only do damage to the message...

    Hidden Mysteries of the Bible

I've found that generally when God wants something to be said He will open an effectual door if we wait for Him and stay in step with Him.....He'll provide the opening/opportunity and it will not be unseemly or out of place and stepping on toes unnecessarily.

Hellfire and brimstone has given way to eternal separation from God. - Why?

The Lord was gracious to open to me why Matthew mentioned Jeremiah's prophetic writing with regard to the potter's field...it's post 694 on page 35 when you get back. Keep in mind that the NT reveals the meaning of things in the OT that had previously been hidden to the reader. And it goes to...

Hellfire and brimstone has given way to eternal separation from God. - Why?

There's no need to be offended, I was thinking mostly of Steven's constant questioning people like schoolchildren instead of just stating what his beliefs are and showing what scriptures led to them.

Hellfire and brimstone has given way to eternal separation from God. - Why?

Just want to say that I believe it's both instantaneous as well as a process. We do receive the mind of Christ when we receive Christ. But we also need to learn to walk in that.

Hellfire and brimstone has given way to eternal separation from God. - Why?

Had a feeling this is how you see it. God knows.
