What does the hell doctrine say about the character of God?

Well, I don't assume that God requires any actions before he forgives. Jesus already made the bloody sacrifice for all believers. Yes, we have to always be vigilant against any and all influences from the culture around us. That's where prayer and reading the Bible come in.

What does the hell doctrine say about the character of God?

Yes, our minds can't wrap themselves around God oftentimes. He is truly beyond our comprehension as the just Creator-Judge.

    About demons and doubles:

I recommend the book "Overcome Modern Idols: Beat 31 false gods" (Amazon). I agree that there are many modern idols, but they are front-gods for the fallen angels, the devil and the demons.

    About demons and doubles:

Always remember that angels, fallen as demons, are creatures of God who have rebelled against him. As creatures, not divine, they are limited in knowledge unlike him.

    About demons and doubles:

The Bible is clear that the devil and demons are angels who rebelled against God before creation of the universe and humans. What Bible verses back up your idea?

What does the hell doctrine say about the character of God?

No, the JWs have the wrong god. The true God is the one in John's Gospel, three Persons in the one eternal Creator-and-Rescuer God. Some passages are figurative, especially Revelation (look at chapter, where some of the symbolism is explained; while others, like the teachings and history, are...

What does the hell doctrine say about the character of God?

No, it is a figurative picture, as most of Revelation is, of a horrible place variously described as "outer darkness" and a "burning lake," which is the absence of God's presence and of everything and everyone people rely on for security and happiness. If people don't want to love their Creator...

What does the hell doctrine say about the character of God?

It's not pointless or torture. It's the same punishment that people have wanted their whole lives--to leave God out of their lives by living for self. It's God's right justice.

What is the basis for the unbeliever's condemnation?

Thanks for your clarification; it just showed up in my inbox, that's all, brother.

What is the basis for the unbeliever's condemnation?

What translation are you using? It seems to have Hebrew words, even though the New Testament was written in Greek. Why don't you use a good English translation like the English Standard Version that would communicate to most people a little better? Just a suggestion. Also, please explain to me...

What is the basis for the unbeliever's condemnation?

When you say "All means all," are you saying that every single human being will be justified (declared "not-guilty") by our divine Judge? Thus, do you believe that ALL people will be saved in the end? As a result, do you believe that God is NOT a God of real justice? I'm just curious. I agree...

What does the hell doctrine say about the character of God?

The burning lake of fire is not literal fire; it's a place where all the things and people we trusted in this life for happiness and security will be taken away. If we lived our life without God, we get our wish in the next one without him as well as all our comforts that we relied on. That's...

For all you Calvin/Tulip believers... or if you are unsure but into predestination as Calvin/Tulip teaches....

I never would have joined the Christian Reformed Church if they, like the Catholics, believed that baptism saves a baby. They don't, just as John Calvin didn't. The covenant continues on with Christians, only in a NEW form, the new covenant. Baptism has replaced circumcision (Colossians 2), as...

Does God care more for himself than he cares for us?

That's okay. All people have a right to their opinions, but I also have the same right. That's why I was shocked that certain topics are off-limits.

A GREAT STORM IS COMING. Message from Mary

Yeah, I come down on the side of free speech unfettered by government interference, and therefore I lean toward Trump as President.

What is the basis for the unbeliever's condemnation?

What does the second "all" mean in contrast to the first one? Every single individual or all believers? When you compare other Scriptures with Romans 3:23-24, the "all" has to mean all believers are justified. Do you think that God is only a God of love and grace or also a God who dispenses...

Does God care more for himself than he cares for us?

Behold, why are you still harping on Calvinism? Can't you find some doctrines that are truly unbiblical to criticize instead of imagining false doctrines that Calvinism doesn't have?

    The Way/Theosis/entire sanctification.

I am 82 years old and have been a Christian for 66 years. For anyone who thinks he can become sinless in this life, I say look at the Scriptures in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, for example, where Paul calls us to have constant joy, prayer, and thanks, which are our goals that I don't believe we ever...

Does God care more for himself than he cares for us?

I suggest that you look to the Bible, especially Paul's letters, for the support for your view, which is basically accurate: 1Co_15:49 Just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the man of heaven. 2Co_3:18 And we all, with unveiled face, beholding...
