The Puritans didn’t celebrate Christmas and passed laws against it. I haven’t looked at a Puritan hymnal in a long time but it wouldn’t have contained a Christmas hymns section.

I don’t know. I agree. The hymnal my church uses contains some hymns written by trinitarians (Luther, for example); hymns which don’t contradict the doctrine of the church. (I imagine Luther would have a few choice words to say if he knew some of his hymns were contained in a non-trinitarian...

You’re a member registered “Christian” criticizing the trinitarians and their doctrine. That is a violation of the Board rules. The truth from the word of the Bible is trinitarian orthodoxy. That is their position. If you don’t agree with it then you’re not allowed to discuss it.

Apparently you don’t understand that the issue is any expression of dissent from trinitarian orthodoxy is prohibited by the rules if you are registered “Christian”. You are, I’m not.

That’s right. You can keep your “Christian” registration, cease talking about orthodoxy altogether, and talk about something else. You’re still speaking against trinitarian orthodoxy with these comments.

I’ve demonstrated in other threads that the Southern Baptist Church stands with historical orthodox trinitarianism. If any member here disagrees that it does and requests it, I’ll provide it for them.

I’m not baiting either of you into anything. You both dissent from historical trinitarian orthodoxy on your own grounds and you’re both speaking freely of your own volition. Exercise self control. Take responsibility for your words and actions, just as I take responsibility for mine.
