    You Probably Believe This Lie

Why do you assume that? It is not correct. He said rather, that "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life." The exception is rather if one "believes" or not. So, yes, there is a condition...and therefore, for those who do not believe His salvation is...

Only Two Times of Resurrection, Not Three

Truth be known, there is only One resurrection (but two or three accounts told regarding all who are included). Just as it is also written, "that our old man was crucified with Him."

    You Probably Believe This Lie

No, it is the opposite that is true. Salvation begins and ends with Christ, and It is finished. To the contrary, it is "circular" for lack of faith, to keep coming back to the idea that one is not saved after being saved.

If you believe these are the end times, why do you not also believe great apostacy has come?

As for the timing issues: What are we talking about? Some--most, cannot help but focus on the events as they pertain to men and this world--I get that. But that is not what I was getting at in starting this thread. I was hoping to have a little more head scratching and considering of God's...

If you believe these are the end times, why do you not also believe great apostacy has come?

That certainly has been the popular belief for most of these past 2,000 years. However, it violates the principle and parable of the evil servant who came to say "My master is delaying his coming." But if you are up to being reasonable, surely you have only expressed what the perspective is...

Memo to God and His prophets. :) Thanks for cc'ing me!

If you believe these are the end times, why do you not also believe great apostacy has come?

You have not accused me of saying something untrue. Still you are offended. Speaks volumes.

If you believe these are the end times, why do you not also believe great apostacy has come?

I have said a lot on this subject, but the greatest point is the comparison we have with what occurred when Jesus came the first time. I shouldn't have to repeat what history is repeating. Religion and secular government had then taken over for hundreds of years prior to the first coming of...

If you believe these are the end times, why do you not also believe great apostacy has come?

You are not being honest. The Pharisees were learned men and knew the scriptures. Comparatively, so are many Christians of today. The Pharisees did not realize who was among them even after being told. Comparatively, most Christians today say they have Jesus in them but deny that He has come...

When do you "expect" Jesus to return?

Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. Now, I know that is not what you may have been expecting, but that is the time of His coming. As for the specific time--God knows, and so...

If you believe these are the end times, why do you not also believe great apostacy has come?

The comparison between common Christian belief and that of the Pharisees, is not unlike the days being "as the days of Noah." Which can be denied also in a thousand ways and be just as wrong. That would mean simply not getting the comparison. What is comparable is that the Pharisees did not see...

What is the role of christians in the modern era

Good, not everyone is asleep! As the world got closer to the coming of Messiah the miracles of old became legend and folklore loosing steam and then were propped up with religious practices. Then He came. Since then things have built in numbers but wane in power as the miracles have again...

If you believe these are the end times, why do you not also believe great apostacy has come?

Yes, there is definitely a pattern: Isaiah 6:9 And He said, “Go, and tell this people: ‘Keep on hearing, but do not understand; Keep on seeing, but do not perceive.’ Matthew 13:13 Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they...

If you believe these are the end times, why do you not also believe great apostacy has come?

I have quoted the scriptures you have not reconciled and explained the whole truth, and you deny that I have even quoted them. For this reason you also are denied. You just denied about half of all that is written...so, yeah, I see how you would feel that way.

God does not have a timeline.

You deny those scriptures you say cannot be found against the Holy Spirit. For this same reason they are denied to you.

If you believe these are the end times, why do you not also believe great apostacy has come?

That is closer than most would state it. I do know that you have somewhat against the rapture "to heaven"--which is not wrong, but should not always be the focus, as there are other things to consider. Those other things are the timing and a proper heavenly understanding of the transition...

If you believe these are the end times, why do you not also believe great apostacy has come?

Yes, complaining, but not just complaining. Warning. The biblical and historical precedence is that the best minds knowing all the scriptures failed to see what was coming regarding Christ's first coming. That it was foretold that the spirit of anti-Christ was already at work, Jesus warned of...

God does not have a timeline.

So said the Priests and the Pharisees and were offended, and Nicodemus too could not understand the "mystical gobbly goop." :(
