Most here probably consider the repentance of a BAC as a "work". Ditto for obedience. And let's not mention practicing righteousness. Paul talks about "your reasonable service"(Romans 12:1). Gee, what could that be? ... Belief, faith, trust? ... Naw, sorry! .

When first saved, BACs receive absolutely everything! But, as I explained to an ex-pastor friend ... "You focus on initial salvation, while I focus on maintaining it." The NT has many dozens of dire warnings about falling away! But, today's church is so FAST ASLEEP that they ignore/reject these...

If you would read and understand the NT, you would find that it's all about NOT sinning, which in a word translates to obedience! Would you like to see the several NT verses that say BACs have been freed from being in bondage to sin? Would you like to see the several NT verses that say...

Almost everyone defines a BAC as one who has received the Holy Spirit, which means they have become a new creation (2 Cor 5:17). .

IMO, it is ridiculous to keep on posting your favorite NT verses without also dealing with the many other NT verses, such as in the OP. .

Sorry, I do not agree ... IMO, a large percentage of BACs in today's N.A. churches are involved in habitual (unrepentant) sinning (for various reasons)! .
