    Do you speak against "Sinlessness"?

That is wonderful I am all about becoming dead to sin, abiding in Christ. It doesn't the stop the notion of desiring of temptations that come along. None of those principles have ever changed...

    Do you speak against "Sinlessness"?

@1stCenturyLady, while I believe you are a living breathing human being with feelings, I am simply reminded of what Jesus spoke of, The Parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector 9 To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everyone else, Jesus told this...

    Do you speak against "Sinlessness"?

None of that impresses me. In fact, it's boastful and prideful however you may not realize that you are doing anything wrong in general. And? What that has to do with the topic of being sinless?

    Do you speak against "Sinlessness"?

It's highly important to me, personally, to be honest. Christian, who follow with Christ and abide and grow in him, they will receive a new life, dying to the old life if they so choose. Sometimes dying to things take time, and sometimes even some things that are prayed for are not taken away...

    Do you speak against "Sinlessness"?

Jesus fulfilled the commandments, and the Law is only good if you are gonna use it lawful, and it is for lawbreakers, and all those who know they are lawbreakers, put their trust and faith in the Lord Jesus, and they are made right with God. Oh okay, good to know I don't read all that well. I...

    Do you speak against "Sinlessness"?

Because it's paradoxical. While JEsus in you can't sin when he is coming through, but you can still have temptations and fall into sin. I could quote more scripture but I dont see the point. They can by their flesh. Saying they never sin again, is just bullcrap.

    Do you speak against "Sinlessness"?

Are you conscience of your shortcomings and failures, @1stCenturyLady?

    Do you speak against "Sinlessness"?

That is very personal, I am conscience of my short comings, and my failures. I continue to believe that Gods grace is sufficient enough for me. No one said anything about breaking the commandments. All that is known is to Love God, and to love others as yourself. If you hate your brother or...

    Do you speak against "Sinlessness"?

Light and Darkness, Sin and Forgiveness 5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 6 If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light...

    Do you speak against "Sinlessness"?

I dont wanna deceive myself, @1stCenturyLady. Christ in me doesn't sin when abiding in him, but my flesh continues to have the desire to sin regardless, it's just a choice to abide in the vine or not. Let me ask you, Did God love you before you continued to abide in Christ or even knew about it?

    Do you speak against "Sinlessness"?

I was never born an Israelite. I was never given the 10 commandments.

    Do you speak against "Sinlessness"?

You can quote single passage but that do not matter if you are going against the whole grain of context, therefore you can say whatever you want to say. I do not believe you are sinless, even if you suggest that you are.

    Do you speak against "Sinlessness"?

    If you say so.
  14. MatthewG

    Do you speak against "Sinlessness"?

If you say so. I believe everyone sins and slips up from time to time when they have a bad day, or have a day where they desire their own will and way to be done rather than God's way, and for that as the pharisee and sinner, who prayed, all I can say is God have mercy on me because I am a...

There is definitely a lot to consider, with the main information given, and comparing to what other people may say.

Why are Christians indulging in sin rather than overcoming?

well, dont listen to what I say; i do see Sin as paid for all people due to the bloodshed of Jesus. Listening to me wont get you anywhere.

Was Jesus learning to become like his Father?

Yes, Yeshua, he was a person who loved, he cried, wept, helped, had feasts with others, had his disciples, which he called his friends, who left him, then came back again to proclaim the gospel of Christ and the promises which were going to be fulfilled in that day. Jesus did learn and grow, as...
