Sure, I suppose you can make up things as you go along.

The dividing line (and why there is no Unity) is Sola Scriptura. Most of the stuff they hold to, is a result of deviating from Scripture and instead, heading to Tradition, something Jesus rebuked the Saducees and Pharisees for.

Where in Scripture do you see that happening or a promise of it to happen?

I have also mused, how can someone finite like Mary hear thousands of prayers addressed to her simultaneously? That would require God status, no?

    No unity ever

I'm still looking for a verse that says we can pray to those who have passed on (Jesus not included), or at least an example of such.

Anyone can defend to their death a statement like 'well imo there really cant be any wrong answers to "what does 'the faith' mean to you'. That stance would never be persecuted to one's death in a pluralistic world as Christians were in the 1st Century. It molds itself to the winds of the...

If there are no wrong answers, why seek for an answer? It's better to seek for the Answer now than to find it out when it is too late. The Answer is Jesus, now what was the question?

I haven’t been to church in a long time.

Feeling guilty and being guilty are not necessarily the same. You may 'feel' guilty for not attending Church in a long time, but if you are in Christ your status is 'not guilty' and that should make you want to go to Church whether you feel guilty or not.

Acts 6:7 (KJV) And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith. Acts 13:8 (KJV) But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the...

Yes 'faith' can refer to the body of belief one holds. Jude 3 (KJV) Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

    How rich is too rich?

Right, being rich is not inherently sinful. As a matter of fact it takes a tremendous amount of faith to be excessively rich and still trust God. Riches are also a tool which can be used for good or evil. (which I think was your point).

    How rich is too rich?

When the abundance of riches reach a point where you trust in them rather than the living God, then it's too much.

Hello and welcome... Isaiah 64:4 (KJV) For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him. 1 Corinthians 2:9 (KJV) But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear...

Are we speaking of translations or the original languages when referencing 'The Word'? Translations are not inspired, only the words they translate.
