Do you believe that Jesus doing everything he had done?

I don't want to butt in, and if Enoch111 wants to speak for himself, that would be great. But I too denote the idea of you perhaps believing in the salvation of Christ as being an event that has completely come and gone, as if it was a one time event without regard for those of the gentiles...

    Are Jehovah's witnesses real Christians?

Not true. Matthew 15:18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. And it shows in that last comment. But I digress. Your rant and pet peeve has nearly buried the issue of all that the scriptures "only point to"...as if to say (with criticism)...

Do you believe that Jesus doing everything he had done?

"Many are called, but few are chosen."

I take it from both sides.

Bob, I have given you the explanation for this issue already. Again: The reason Paul said what he said is because of disorder in the Church being caused by certain women. He called it as He saw it. So it is written. However, the reason it is written in the eternal word of God and also to...

Do you believe that Jesus doing everything he had done?

"A man’s heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps." Proverbs 16:9 God decides when He draws one to Himself, some of whom are on their death bed before He does. Such is life. He decides. The point is--it is categorically wrong to categorically determine that those who have no...

Did the messengers lie about Jesus coming in the first century?

Those are religious teachings of men, which as Peter indicated would be infiltrated by false teachers. There is a biblical explanation for each one of them. But your last comment ("WHERE is Jesus Christ??? Is He is hiding?") reveals the problem. And you are not alone--most believe the same...

Cracking a smile :D --sometime you crack me up E!

Do you believe that Jesus doing everything he had done?

But you have judged them by insisting that one must do good works to be saved. Look, no one is saying that good words should not be done or advised, or that the commandments not be kept. That is not the issue. Those things are certainly advisable and good and should be done. But because those...

Does God expect us to obey the hundreds of NT commands on day one of our service to be saved?

No, but that is only your perception. If you want to consider the events of "a time, times, and half at time" a "process"...that is indeed the perception from the world's side of the equation. But I was speaking to sanctification as not being of the world--which it is not, and no scripture says...

    Are Jehovah's witnesses real Christians?

You are being selective and not accounting for all that is written, which I perceive is due to your assessment being made with regard to "times"...meaning, by your own understanding. That is, that being in the times of this world yourself, and Jesus also living in the times of this world, but...

Do you believe that Jesus doing everything he had done?

Again, you are not considering those who die on their death bed whose last breath confessed Christ. The scriptures--even if you go on and on about all that is written--do not condemn anyone on the basis of works. They merely state that good works is the evidence of salvation in those who live on.

Does God expect us to obey the hundreds of NT commands on day one of our service to be saved?

That either sounds defensive or accusatorial. Just because you gave a mountain of scripture and I did not, why do you not recognize that I was in fact quoting the scriptures? Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the...

Does God expect us to obey the hundreds of NT commands on day one of our service to be saved?

All good counsel indeed. But do not be so overtaken with the great amount of counsel for what was to be, that we forget what it is that now is in all who have since come to be in Christ and He in them.

Do you believe that Jesus doing everything he had done?

You are not considering all that is written. If you believe that one must "do the will of the Father", this is what Paul referred to when he confessed that "what he willed to do, he did not do." This is why it is written of him. Which is to say--unlike we might think, it is not what one does...

Do you believe that Jesus doing everything he had done?

My question was rhetorical. Yes, it is the same with the thief on the cross. As for "those who all their life had ignored Jesus", I will go one further to say, that if one who lived and died in a remote part of the world had never even heard of Jesus, but looked up to the heavens at any time...

Does God expect us to obey the hundreds of NT commands on day one of our service to be saved?

Things are not what they appear. sanc·ti·fi·ca·tion /ˌsaNG(k)təfəˈkāSH(ə)n/ the action of making or declaring something holy. To be made holy, is an act of God--not a "process", as God is the same always. Thus sanctification is the act of God in "choosing" one for salvation after they have...

Do you believe that Jesus doing everything he had done?

And what of those who come to faith and belief in Christ on their death bed, having no more life in them to do any good works as a result?

Do you believe that Jesus doing everything he had done?

That, by no means reconciles the scriptures. In other words, even someone who comes to faith and belief in Christ on their death bed, can and is saved without works. Works, then, simply refers to what the seed of faith ought to produce [if] given the time for it to grow. It is that simple.

Do you believe that Jesus doing everything he had done?

Good response! First the issue: The passages from James and Paul are indeed both correct...but simply not aligned to address the issue in the same way. Paul simply cuts straight to the actual source of all that salvation must be attributed to--being Christ alone, and faith in what He has done...

    Are Jehovah's witnesses real Christians?

Sorry @Robert Gwin, but I should think this is applicable. Back to you @Wrangler, That is a strange translation that would appear to lean in the direction that you are suggesting. But no matter. It still explains the truth--not as you have suggested, but as it is written and actually is. Which...
