    “Conscience of Sins”

But all sins are always taken into account; there are no sins that are not already known by God that we will commit, and therefore it includes all our sins, not just some. He forgives us when we continue to confess and repent when we sin (1Jn 1:9), which answers to a continuous fellowship of...

    “Conscience of Sins”

Hi, and thanks for your reply! Yes, the more you lead the more you are accountable for; but a Christian shouldn't be worried about being a leader if one is called to it. I don't know what you mean by "circumvent." 1Jn 5:8-10 concerns one initially establishing salvation, which is done only once...

    “Conscience of Sins”

Once forgiven, always forgiven! This is the sense of "once for all" (Heb 10:10). God knows we will always want to please Him because He "works" this in us (Phl 2:13); it's a permanent condition.

    “Conscience of Sins”

Hi, and thanks for the reply! True, the Law could not "take away sins," but it did establish "forgiveness," which is the objective of all; and this was only for unintentional sin (Num 15:25; 30). The objective of Christ's Blood was to take away sins, which phrase meant only the guilt of sin and...

    “Conscience of Sins”

The goal of the Father for believers concerning sanctification is that they would have “no more conscience of sins” (Heb 10:2). Saints need not to contemplate their sins since they have been completely and permanently cleared of all the guilt of all their sins—“once for all” (Heb 10:10, 12, 14...

    Concentrated Growth Truths

By "effortless" is meant that it's the work of Christ's sacrifice that establishes forgiveness, there is nothing we can do for our sin except trust Him for the expiation of our sin. Enduring trials, resisting the devil and many other things Christians do to show their love for God requires much...

    Concentrated Growth Truths

As a person, my Father conceived me in His heart of love back in the eternal counsels of the Trinity. “According as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love; having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to...

    A Few Quite Notes

“I do not become devoted in the true sense until I have found my rest in the Lord Jesus. I am, up to this point, rather looking to receive from Him. I am more an object to myself; but when I find how fully I am an object to Him, then my heart is at liberty to make Him its object, He having made...

    Law vs Gospel

Paul makes a distinct identification between Israel and the Church. Firstly, there is never any language that shows God's disapproval with the Church, hence "God hath not cast away His people" is in reference to non-Christians. Also, when Scripture uses the terminology "His people," it always...

    Law vs Gospel

Yes, how the patience and love of God for His "people" is manifested!

    Law vs Gospel

We would need Scripture to support what we believe. I see no Scripture showing Israel being "cast away" (Rom 11:1; 2, 15, 23-28). "Because of unbelief they were broken off" but "if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in" (20, 23). "And so all Israel shall be saved" (26). There's...

    Law vs Gospel

Many are not going to understand God's eschatological plans for Israel. I post the information for those who will understand. The Jews are the same concerning sin, but God has chosen them to be a people for Him, and He will be bringing those who believe in Him to Himself. God will not let this...

    Law vs Gospel

This is true, only Christians inherit heaven. The Jews miss out and inherit the earth, which is what God intended and knew. This is what the "blessed" is in Jhn 20:29: "Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen Me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have...

    Law vs Gospel

It's my understanding that there are no chances God has with Israel. They have always been in union with Him (those believing in Him), and will eventually be in fellowship with Him, just not in the sonship capacity, but a "people of God," instead of children of God.

    Law vs Gospel

Israel has a special calling (even though they don't believe in Christ yet) that places them in a different position than the rest of the world. They are still in union with Him, which answers to why Romans 11 manifests Him eventually bringing them back to Himself.

    Law vs Gospel

Amen, the Son of God on the Cross! God sent Him and He came; and this is a Covenant of Redemption which is between the Father and the Son, and believers in Christ receive of its benefits (salvation).

    Law vs Gospel

The Jews who believe in God (Jn 14:1) but not in Jesus will believe in Christ when they see Him during the millennium, but it will be too late for them to inherit sonship. They will be on the new earth and continue to be a people of God, but not children of God; the children of God will inherit...

    Transformation

The Lord Jesus is not now on earth. He has ascended into heaven. What a very peculiar position then is mine here! Sensible of the worthlessness of the first man (Adam—NC), and of the absence of the Second. My own life—that of the first man—I have; the One I love—the Man who has glorified God...
