The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

So the first century church fathers were wrong about eternal punishment? Lol, that's a stretch.

Giving others freedom to think and believe differently

Purgatory is a false hope for people whose loved ones died unsaved. Maybe if I pray really hard I can get uncle Jack into heaven. What a crock.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

What do you do with what the early church father's said about hell? Clement of Rome If we do the will of Christ, we shall obtain rest; but if not, if we neglect his commandments, nothing will rescue us from eternal punishment (Second Clement 5:5 [A.D. 150]). Justin Martyr No more is it...

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

Gods promises depend on our response to his promises. He promises salvation to those who respond with faith. As I already said. They are conditional promises.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

Right. Because they had not yet learned what they needed to know to believe. Not because they were born to be goats. That's why I told you it's a metaphor. You seem to think that being a sheep is something we were born to be. You aren't born a follower. You become one when you seek God. "Keep...

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

God promises to offer salvation to all. " But Scripture has locked up everything under the control of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe. What God promises depends on our response to his promises. Such as Moses not...

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

You might want to ask Jesus that. Because he said he was amazed.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

Not unless they learn from God. Amazing how people read the Bible backwards. Jesus was preaching so they could believe, not just to anger people who were incapable of believing. Again, you limit God's grace.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

None of that is salvation of Abraham's soul. Paul said he would as saved by faith. Not because of any thing he did for God. So all the things God called him to do... even though he was chosen for them, he could have refused... and he could have refused to believe when God spoke to him.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

That is a very limiting view of grace. For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit, Not just for some sins. For the death he died he died to sin, once for all, but the...

    RIP?

If we merely die until the resurrection, then why would we have any consciousness whatsoever? "For when David had served God's purpose in his own generation, he fell asleep; he was buried with his fathers and his body decayed. (Acts 13:36). I believe sleep is used to refer to the death of the...

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

It doesn't say in John 10 that one is born to be a sheep or goat. ...but you do not believe because you are not my sheep. 27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. " Want to be a sheep? Listen and follow. In the Jews case, they had failed to learn from God, so they were...

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

Noah and Abraham were chosen to do certain things. Not for salvation. Surely God knew Abraham would become a man of faith, but that's not the same as being chosen for salvation.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

Really? Because I think that's exactly what you are saying. That God " elected" Noah and his family and no one else. For no reason you are willing to give. Being a righteous man didn't in itself make him worthy of being given grace, because he was still imperfect... but it's why God picked him...

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

You know that no one is literally a sheep, correct? It's a metaphor. Matthew 25:31–46: "But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then he will sit on the throne of his glory. Before him all the nations will be gathered, and he will separate them one from...

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

No, I have a problem with the idea that God just zaps some people with faith. It's not biblical. And it makes no sense whatsoever to commend them for their faith if that's the case, yet we have a whole chapter in the Bible doing just that. Hebrews 11.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

They were spared because Noah was a righteous man. Not because God randomly chose them out of all the people on the Earth.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

Of course it does. "You stubborn people! You are heathen at heart and deaf to the truth. Must you forever resist the Holy Spirit? That’s what your ancestors did, and so do you!" Isaiah 63:10 But they rebelled And grieved His Holy Spirit; Therefore He turned Himself to become their enemy, He...

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

Because she had great faith. Not because he implanted great faith in her, but because she chose to believe.
