Paul claimed 3 times that Revelation 20:4 was a current reality.

Dan. 12:1 is speaking of the living, this is part of the prophecy about the restrainer, who is Michael as depicted in Rev. 12:7-9. He is speaking of the living, believing woman when the time of Jacob's trouble is over, which, imo, began in 70ad and is still ongoing (christian Israel when there...

Paul claimed 3 times that Revelation 20:4 was a current reality.

He did, to John, years later, it's called the "Revelation" of Jesus Christ.

Paul claimed 3 times that Revelation 20:4 was a current reality.

Agreed, heaven or hell for the living at the end of the 70th week. No mention of a resurrection at all, not a parable, sorry bro, it's a prophecy.

    Our hope for the Future

It's all there and proven in the word of God and your reply answer is correct. "Knowing how to read does not prove you have understood what you have read! Unless your opinions are proven by the Word of God, they aren't really worth much!" Got a specific question instead of vague proclamations?

    Our hope for the Future

Your last paragraph...This is the time to hear and obey the gospel but the time runs out at the end of the 70th week. Many of those on earth who listened will get to enter the millennial era. Millennium is literal not some symbolic picture of time.

    Our hope for the Future

If we combine them we get what God is talking about..."From the foundation of the world (at the beginning of time) God's plan has always been to send you Jesus the Christ, who has been appointed for you, 21 whom heaven must keep until the time for the [complete] restoration of all things about...

Paul claimed 3 times that Revelation 20:4 was a current reality.

I offered some as examples, sorry you don't believe the word.

Paul claimed 3 times that Revelation 20:4 was a current reality.

Do you really think a historical battle from long ago would have produced enough wood to burn for "seven years" for "household" use?? They are all the size of kindling!! It is describing the destruction of weapons of war, not stove wood...lol.

Paul claimed 3 times that Revelation 20:4 was a current reality.

Acts 17 and Matt. 13 are describing the GWTJ, post mill. Matt. 25 is describing an earthly judgment, post 70th week.

Paul claimed 3 times that Revelation 20:4 was a current reality.

In both passages there is a first event followed by a second event, they could be a 1000 yrs. apart and the scriptures would still be literally true.
  11. Trekson

Paul claimed 3 times that Revelation 20:4 was a current reality.

There is no link between a second birth and the resurrection I don't know where you got that idea from.
  12. Trekson

Paul claimed 3 times that Revelation 20:4 was a current reality.

Obviously the first one because he is describing life in heaven. Most of the second resurrection, but not all are heading the other way. There is only 2 resurrections as scripture plainly points out.

What can I say, I know how to read.

    Our hope for the Future

The question was answered and what folks thought hundreds of years ago is irrelevant. The church has greatly increased it's knowledge of scripture since then especially regarding prophecy.

    Our hope for the Future

Verification from scripture is throughout the whole bible, try reading it some time.

    Our hope for the Future

There won't be any gospel being proclaimed in the millennial era because of the last section of the NC. Heb. 8:11. "Everyone" will know him on a personal level. Everybody knows the age of the gentiles is now, but, imo, it's going to end in the near future.

    Our hope for the Future

First two, yes, last one no. #30 is speaking of the wrath of the Lamb, the trumpet judgments of Rev. which do not occur in a single day.

    Our hope for the Future

Did you get lost somewhere along the way? The phrase "from the foundation of the world" is describing time, not what anything looked like...lol.
  19. Trekson

    Our hope for the Future

I don't disagree w/ the statement I just think you misplacing the timing and or severity because it isn't speaking about global destruction. The verse is in line w/ 1Thess. 1:7 and if read after that, you'll understand it's more localized.

    Our hope for the Future

They are capitalized because they are referencing titles of Christ as God, that's all and it's does so throughout the bible. In the KJ only the word "son" is capitalized and not "man" and neither is "him". Every reference to the members of the Trinity are always capitalized throughout the bible...
