    “This Cup”!

[Note] The intention of this article is to express the depth of the Lord Jesus’ willingness to relate with us concerning the infirmity of all our trials in this life! Was Jesus’ cry of desertion on the Cross a manifestation of Him actually being “forsaken” by the Father, or could it have been...

    Present-day Timothy

In early days of the Church (e.g. Antiochain era - Act 11:26 - 1st century AD), when the rich and mighty tide of divine grace was flowing in, and bearing thousands of ransomed souls upon its bosom; when all were of one heart and one mind (Act 4:32); when those outside were overawed by the...

    Unity of Knowledge

No KJV only here, there are a few other translations that also use the Majority Text, e.g. Youngs literal translation, Webster's translation, etc.

    Unity of Knowledge

Amen, and it's my opinion that the only way to use our heavenly-bound-home as encouragement in this life is in knowing the permanency of faith and salvation. I think there will be more Christians who could have used it for encouragement, than those who will. Love ya Brother!

    Unity of Knowledge

Like your comments here. Myself, I've always been a "safety-in-numbers" person concerning these type of issues.

    Unity of Knowledge

I appreciate your compliment on the articles I share, and like your comments which are pertinent to the subjects! I find it safest to side with translations that parallel most of the existing manuscripts (the Majority Text), which are ones mostly used during the last 5 centuries. Translations...

    Unity of Knowledge

Thanks for the input, part of which I agree. I chose books that were not out to be malevolent but just to "reprove" or expose "works of darkness" (Eph 5:11). If the wrongs are true, I don't see them as "conspiracy," in which case it should be done. Concerning Erasmus' Received Text (1522 3rd...

    Unity of Knowledge

For some time now (recent century) many Christians have encountered a dearth of spiritual growth, and in my opinion it’s undeniably obvious that this is derived from a twofold lack of sufficient Bible reading/studying, and of less desire for church fellowship, both of which are a priority in...

“Such Are They Also That Are Heavenly”

If I walk faithfully here, it is desert where nothing contributes to me. I am set here as the Lord Jesus’ witness to draw all my supplies from elsewhere. The harbor, where the supplies come in, is the only cheering spot in this dry and barren land where no water is. I must seek and receive...

“As In Heaven, So On Earth”

It is a grand thing for our souls, on the one hand, to be firmly established in the grace of God toward us, to allow no insinuation of the enemy to raise a question touching the efficacy of what the Lord Jesus has wrought for us—the fullness of redemption that is in Him. And, on the other hand...

    God's Will vs God's Desire

It depends on the usage. His will is that unbelievers perish, but it has never been His desire! Thanks for the comment.

    God's Will vs God's Desire

I appreciate you asking, and I've realized that the way I worded some of the material can easily be misunderstood. I think I'll have to post another explanation because there are many on the site I share misunderstanding me. We could say that God has willed to allow everything that occurs, but...

    God's Will vs God's Desire

Thanks for the input, but I don't see your comment resembling the main subject that it's His will (not His desire) for unbelievers to perish and believers to live. I'll try to think if I can further explain, but doubtful that I can. God bless!

Well put! Thanks and God bless!

    God's Will vs God's Desire

HI and thanks for the input! The point the article makes concerns God's will relating to that all have are subjected to His will concerning the final outcome of each, i.e. what we receive concerning His will if we reject Him, and for receiving Him (hard to explain clearly).

    God's Will vs God's Desire

Really like your comments here. I see it that His attributes are things that are known of Him and are confirmed by the eye (nature), similar to Heb 11:3. "For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible...

    God's Will vs God's Desire

No problem, you have the right to choose how you want to be, as all do.

    God's Will vs God's Desire

You'll get more participation in sharing what you want to share in a kind way; and you won't appear to be making accusations. I don't mind how you choose to reply, and not apposing yourself in any way, but just trying to maintain a proper communication. Comments are meaningless without proper...

    God's Will vs God's Desire

From the input I’ve received in this thread I realize that I need to better explain what I mean by “Everyone does God's will.” Everyone ends in subjection to God concerning His will for believers and unbelievers. For example, it’s His will (but not His desire) that the latter receive eternal...
