Mature Spiritual Christians No Longer Need the Written Word?

I believe a person hating and rejecting God before dying was likely not saved to begin with. Now can you be equally kind and answer my question?

Then I can't help not seeing a contradiction with this first thing you said, "We are saved by our love of Christ, ...". That is why I brought up this whole issue in the first place.

Mature Spiritual Christians No Longer Need the Written Word?

Yes, but notice, it was not on account of how much they loved Jesus, but that He first loved them.

Mature Spiritual Christians No Longer Need the Written Word?

Could you answer my question?... How much love must you perform until you are assured of your salvation? Salvation is a rescue from a desperately evil heart. But go ahead.

Mature Spiritual Christians No Longer Need the Written Word?

Yes we accept Christ and His gift but it is important that it is all based on His love for us and not vice-versa. 1 John 4:19 (KJV) We love him, because he first loved us.

You missed my point. You originally said, " We are saved by our love of Christ,". Let's also pray we can stick on topic instead of all this interpersonal psychoanalyzing of one another.

I'm clueless, which party? And why do we have so much trouble sticking to the topic rather than sizing up one another and pronouncing judgment with personal innuendos?

    Cut off from Christian History

But Scripture has plenty of inspired history, especially in the OT... 1 Corinthians 10:11 NASB [11] Now these things happened to them as an example, and they were written for our instruction, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.

    Sabatarianism

Matthew 20:28 (KJV) Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

Some need it to be spelled out or they come back with obvious questions. Sorry if I spoiled the punchline...the ice was melting.

I can't seem to understand why you must interject yourself into a post that never mentioned your name and then react like it did. Paranoid?

As Christians we have been born again by the Spirit and Word. We have the Holy Spirit abiding in us. So are you saying, you have reached the End? Have you attained? No more growth needed?
