    the law of faith?

I'm not talking about Christianity, I am talking about salvation only found in the Jewish Messiah...Jesus Christ... Acts 4:12 (KJV) Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

    the law of faith?

Appealing to Scripture to say Scripture isn't necessary, isn't wise. I have shown where it is necessary for faith in Christ Jesus, can you show me otherwise? John 20:31 NKJV [31] but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may...

    the law of faith?

My point is that there is no believing in Jesus without believing the Scriptures which is what v.26 is essentially saying. You can't divorce the two.

    the law of faith?

OK, so you hold that 'faith in' is not the same as 'believe in'? Because both are used with our Lord and Scripture as the object of our beliief/faith.

    the law of faith?

Ok, I said,... it is not much different from... John 20:31 NKJV [31] but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name. Or 1 John 5:13 NKJV [13] These things I have written to you who believe in the name of...

    the law of faith?

I wasn't looking so much at πίστεως as I was at εἰς 'in' or 'into'. That seems much different from 'from' παρ as the NIV uses in v.26.

    the law of faith?

Hey while we're at it...from the Expanded Bible Romans 16:25-26 25 ·Glory to God [LNow to the one] who can make you strong in faith ·by [or in accord with] ·the Good News that I tell people [Lmy Gospel] and ·by [or in accord with] the ·message [preaching; proclamation] about Jesus Christ. The...

    the law of faith?

Yes this seems the progression in both cases...Scriptures (writings)---> Faith (in those writings)--->Obedience (as a result of that faith).

    the law of faith?

Romans 16:26 (KJV) But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith: Romans 1:5 (KJV) By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all...

    Israel is the Church

So now Israel is the Church and the Church is Israel? And so now the blessings AND CURSES go on the Church? And so now the kingdom of God is on the earth? And so now we as Israel are to fight the Philistines? And so now we are to restablish the Priesthood, Sacrifices and Temple duties? This...

    Israel is the Church

Really ? Luke 17:4? Is that why you jumped in on post #294 with this, when it had nothing to do with Gal 6:16? Nothing like taking a 'low' seat.....

    Israel is the Church

With your finger pointing at me, four are pointing back at you. I have been walking with the Lord 45 years, having been snatched out of drugs and Eastern Mysticism among other junk. Your words remind me too much of the non Christian mystics I've encountered. Thanks for your time...but no thanks.

    Israel is the Church

I have to chuckle when people use Scripture in their attempt to downplay Scripture. Rome is famous for that.

    Israel is the Church

Yes, the Holy Spirit is essential in enlightening our undertanding to His Word...even His written Word. You cannot ivorce the written Word from the Holy Spirit, after all He is it's Author. That verse in 2Cor 3 which you misinterpreted is actually comparing the ministration of the Gospel with...

    Israel is the Church

Romans 10:17 NKJV [17] So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. You know, you lost me. I'm not sure why you felt compelled to respond to my post in the first place. Jesus often said, "IT IS WRITTEN", but to you that is a dead carcass?

    Israel is the Church

I guess that is where we differ. My faith is built on facts. The facts found in God's Word. The fact that God spoke creation into existence. The fact of 100's of fulfilled prophecies. The fact that God cannot lie. The fact of the Virgin birth. The fact that we are all born in sin and need...

Let me see you publicly tout that you are Israel/Jewish when antisemitism goes into full swing.

Yes, for sure, and much of that RCC doctrine is also rooted in amillennialism which was not the belief of the Early Church (Premillennialism was).

Again, why do you have to turn a theological discussion into a personality issue? This is usually a tactic of liberalism. 'Debate the person, not the issue' seems to be their motto. WELL, I'M NOT INTERESTED IN THAT.
