The Gnostics were wrong. But it is also wrong to consider the sin of those who have come to the end, having endured until it is no longer they who live but Christ who lives in them (as the scriptures say) as continuing in sin. That just shows the one seeing it that way as not having reconciled...

Indeed. How one views these many passages, is a clear indication of whether or not they have actually come to the end of themselves...which is that point of death to self, marking "the end."
