    Who founded your church?

Umm. Because that's what online Christian debates are all about, interpretation of scriptures. We would not be having a conversation otherwise. Also, because hearing other interpretations helps me understand that mine is correct. :)

    Who founded your church?

Well that is a convenient way to look at it...so the church was never wrong, just not evolved enough?

    Who founded your church?

And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God...

    Who founded your church?

I'm not dodging, I'm explaining how anyone takes things out of context. And I just told you how to know. Anyone who disagrees with me? lol..sometimes I find that I disagree with me and have to change my mind.

If Adam and Eve had not eaten from the tree of knowledge, how could they know it was wrong to do so

Because a choice isn't a choice without other options being available.

    Who founded your church?

Correct, salvation is a one-time event, in that we are saved at some point in time. Sanctification is a process that ebbs and flows. You can't lose salvation, but scripture does seem to teach that you can throw it away by falling into false teachings such as denying that Jesus was the messiah.

    Who founded your church?

Are you claiming that the Catholic church has been consistent in its beliefs? I've read enough history to know that those beliefs have changed.

    Jesus saves unbelievers !

I haven't seen any such points. You have thus far avoided scripture.

    Who founded your church?

So, is it your belief that lust is an unforgivable sin? Or calling a brother a fool? Or unforgiveness? You are missing the point. Yes, if you get angry at someone without a cause, it is the same as murder; if you lust after another man's wife, it's the same as if you slept with her. These are...

    Who founded your church?

I never said that one can not fall away and become an unbeliever. I said that the only sin that is damnable is unbelief. Refute what? You have to prove something for there to be anything to refute. Instead, you all build a non-biblical doctrine on pieces of verses.

    Who founded your church?

This is a perfect example of taking verse out of context, something I see Catholics on here doing constantly. You are almost as bad as the health and wealth crowd, in that regard, but not quite. Phil 1:29 is about someone suffering for Christ, yes. Is it about me or you? What have we suffered...

    Who founded your church?

It's simple. Does the meaning being drawn from the verse actually work with the context of the verse, or is someone extrapolating? For example, the verse that says there is a sin unto death, when taken in the context the verse is used in, merit creating a whole doctrine about venial sins and...

    Who founded your church?

The Body of believers. It's not a denomination. Yes, the church building I go to has a denomination, but all believers are welcome there. The church isn't a building or a certain sect within Christianity.

Well, all you have is a claim with no proof to back it up, so...

    Who founded your church?

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: Ephesians 2:8-9 - For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: (Read More...) Romans 3:28 - Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith...

    Who founded your church?

Yes there's one sin that can't be forgiven, permanent rejection of the Spirit. I don't think any verse was written in a vacuum. I see Catholics taking verses out of context constantly. As for 1 John 5 the message couldn't be clearer: 10 Whoever believes in the Son of God accepts this...

    Who founded your church?

This is about reward, not teaching that some sins are deadly and some not. Some sins can possibly lead to unbelief if never dealt with. But it's not those sins that damn a person but his unbelief.

    Jesus saves unbelievers !

that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; Confess, believe then be saved, clear as day.

    Jesus saves unbelievers !

You are Calvinist, I assume? I can give you tons of verses confirming belief comes first.
