Once saved, always saved is a myth.

People including myself; will fight, bicker and moan when we cant have it our way either. Hell faith isnt even based on logic. Its based on hope in something we cant see. So people can just chooze what they will, and in christ all one can do is love them and share truth while they got life...

Free-will vs No Free-will (God knows everything?)

Off to work now. but ya if you wanna believe what other people conjure up compared to God and how Paul explains in Romans 9-11, by the old testament standards you can believe and go by them.... I choose not too and you know I love you either way it goes cause just about everyone on here is...

Free-will vs No Free-will (God knows everything?)

There are secular historians such as Josephus, Suetonius, Cassio Dio, and Tacticus, that all co-relate to JEsus and his promises of what he told his disciples who came and said "when will the end of this age happen and the coming of your kingdom be established" - in a sense, and he answered...

Free-will vs No Free-will (God knows everything?)

These people in 1 Thessalonians were also told to watch and wait for Jesus was gonna come back.... The Apostles taught that Jesus was gonna come back... and that people needed to be prepared and not be decieved by other things that came along the way. Its really sad how much people just...

Free-will vs No Free-will (God knows everything?)

I trust God, in predestining and having elect people to come through israel to be part of the bride groom of Christ in his day, that is what I rely on, @CadyandZoe. Just like when God set aside for himself 8000 people who never knelt to baal - the same thing happened after also in JEsus time...

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

Does Jesus Christ speak the truth? Logically, people say hell to the NO, @CadyandZoe. Especially if you have someone that comes up to you and says ... didnt Jesus say he was gonna come back? And you say yes, and then ask well did he? Then you say no... then the bible is a lie itself. My...

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

Sometimes you can't reason based on logic, you have to reason based on faith, @CadyandZoe. Many people love to base everything logic...

Faith healings don't happen anymore; can you prove otherwise? (Either the age has passed or it has not)

To me the biggest healing is of the heart... from a heart that doesn't love God to a heart that does love God.

Faith healings don't happen anymore; can you prove otherwise? (Either the age has passed or it has not)

So have people been healed that are mentally ill, or have broken legs, or any other kind of disorders? My mom has to go to the doctor thursday to get a kidney stone out... it was not prayed out nor passed cause its too big to pass.... It's a damn shame to lie to people ... why do we have...

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

Luke 17:21 Nor will people say, ‘Look, here it is,’ or ‘There it is.’ For you see, the kingdom of God is in your midst.” The Kingdom of God resides on the hearts of individuals who hope to one day go to the Heavenly Jerusalem that is after this life. In their day, they were also waiting for...

Why is the need to study the bible for yourself; important?

Why do would think that the bible is good for study, and what is your reasoning in why someone should do such things? Some people out there can study the bible, but be spiritually dead... Do you need the spirit to help you in your studies as you go along? Trusting; praying and asking God to...

Is God sending people straight to hell when they die, today?

Jesus talks about resuurection of life while you may believe in the view you choose. Ill trust him. Jesus also talked about the afterlife. Many dont like the idea of death in general and adam and eve did die that day they died to having a spiritual connection with God. There is abrhams bosom...

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

People are human beings. Some believe thet are right in their own mind. Its up to you as an individual to seek for truth. I dojt have any reason to condemn people or battle with them… All it does it puff up the flesh … Sometimes ya just gotta be jesus and write in the sand, or just not say...

Free-will vs No Free-will (God knows everything?)

Its like today you choose your path, either with God and with God he can prune you back (teach you by the holy spirit), (to keep one from becoming prideful), or you without God and choose just to live by the knowledge of good and evil; just like in the garden with adam and eve.

Free-will vs No Free-will (God knows everything?)

@CadyandZoe Just take time to read some of the old testament you find things like this (because od breaking a covenante a predestined path is taken with God) … it almost always deals israel though. Therefore Just like the killing of the Son of God; Jesus proclaimed the predestined path (there...

Is God sending people straight to hell when they die, today?

Paul liked to run the race, and God judges, didnt Jesus talk about separation from believers and unbelievers? Destination founded in Revelation 21-22; unless Jesus hasnt came back then its Paradise and prison in sheol? Gotta go somewhere; most just assume the grave… i dont know why, yes your...

How should we view the Rich Young Ruler?

Fame, status, all the stuff… Jesus had none of ! Jesus made himself of no reputation. Philippians 2:7-10 King James Version 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled...

How should we view the Rich Young Ruler?

It would be difficult for a person who has plenty of money and hardly had any trouble with the law, who would be in a mindset of pride by the materialistic worldly standardard, to see the need for Jesus. The Pharisees in that day set aside the commandments of God for their traditions and they...
