Free-will vs No Free-will (God knows everything?)

Thank you for sharing your thoughts, 56.

Free-will vs No Free-will (God knows everything?)

Yes, @CadyandZoe people will argue just about anything. It seems to me that predestination deals with covenants. That is it, it is a joy to be able to read Romans 9-11, and come to an understanding they are under judgement for the decisions they choose to go with, just as Jesus foretold in the...

Free-will vs No Free-will (God knows everything?)

@Rockerduck What would you say about those who have no bible to read, or learn about God. Are they limited and can not choose and are destined to go straight to hell, in a handbasket? What about how nature talks to them? Psalms 19:1 For the choir director. A Psalm of David. The heavens are...

Free-will vs No Free-will (God knows everything?)

That is just a systematic way of belief, @Rockerduck. I don't accept that as truth. I believe people do have freewill to choose God, and do disagree with what you say even though you may use 'scripture' to prove your point.

How should we view the Rich Young Ruler?

Just reporting what the Gospel of Luke says, @Robert Pate. If you would have read my comment all the way through you would understand what was being said, sir. It's alright though, I forgive you.

Free-will vs No Free-will (God knows everything?)

I don't know, I don't know the mind of God. There is the covenants though. Just as predeterminism suggests that God through covenants had a predetermined decision through blessings and cursings that involved the nation of Israel in particular considering - Yahava, made covenant with them, and...

Free-will vs No Free-will (God knows everything?)

Thank you for sharing. I don't believe that an unsaved man negates the ability to choose. While yes, the flesh is opposed to the things of God - faith comes by hearing, and if a person hears truths pertaining to God, within the flesh of the man the soul makes a choice to turn towards God, and...

How should we view the Rich Young Ruler?

@Robert Pate it may be hard to believe, but it was not to farfetched in people being blameless when it came to walking in the law. Luke 1:5 In the time of Herod king of Judea there was a priest named Zechariah, who belonged to the priestly division of Abijah; his wife Elizabeth was also a...

How should we view the Rich Young Ruler?

This is a wonderful story, Jesus loved him (verse 21), after hearing the ruler out. The thing is, the rich ruler was not desirous to drop everything he had in the world for the world that was to come in the afterlife involving the spiritual kingdom. However, he could have changed his mind...

Free-will vs No Free-will (God knows everything?)

Just deciding what to do. I believe God works with man as they allow him to work with them. Thank you again, Behold for replying.

Free-will vs No Free-will (God knows everything?)

What is divine determinism? What does that mean to you, is it for example the determined will of God - for the covenant which he made with Abraham? Did Abraham have a choice in those matters to disobey just as adam did? would you like to share?

Is God sending people straight to hell when they die, today?

Be honest, what do you believe? Is God sending people straight to hell when they die, today? My answer of course is a big solid fat - No. You can't just pretend to believe that God sends people straight to hell and then soften a blow when death comes about. I believe that Yahava, who sent...

Free-will vs No Free-will (God knows everything?)

Do you think there are things that God waits for, and then makes the best decision for the individual ? Say when it involves an interaction by the flesh or interaction by the spirit? I don't see how that is relevant to the topic of 'Free-will or No Free-will' Do you think God limits himself...

Free-will vs No Free-will (God knows everything?)

Therefore it is possible that God may keep things unknown to himself. Who knows the mind of the Lord? Right? What do you mean? Does God work with mankind on the essence of their choices - let's say "be they rely on the flesh or be they rely on the spirit" is God able to work through these...

Free-will vs No Free-will (God knows everything?)

That is cool, Rocker. Pertaining to the question though, what are your thoughts on that? Do human beings have the freedom to choose God, or reject him? Do they have the freewill ability to do so? Or no free-will at all?
  16. MatthewG

Free-will vs No Free-will (God knows everything?)

It seems atleast to me God works by you allowing him to work with you in your life. If you believe everything is predeteremined, you have no say in your life what so ever, and you have no freewill choice. That means some people cant even come to faith; cause they couldnt choose to. A very sad...

Free-will vs No Free-will (God knows everything?)

What do you mean by all knowing? Does it mean when something happens God is able to work around that issue? It seems like that is the narrative all through the bible. If people believe God is all knowing like CadyandZoe shared, it would mean its Gods fault that humankind had fell in the first...

Free-will vs No Free-will (God knows everything?)

Those are just men, Rocker. I noticed a lot of people like to quote so-called famous people. Idk why people would put faith in them, instead of Jesus. What about scriptures that talk about freedom? 2 Corinthians 3:17 Amplified Bible (AMP) Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the...

Free-will vs No Free-will (God knows everything?)

Ill share with you how I see it then, To me I see God setting up everything being good. He even gave the angels in heaven free choice. “But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not...

Why do you believe Satan is still around today? (Please read Op)

Jesus spoke of the people of his times, setting aside the commandments of God for their traditions. These are those who would be considered “Religous Leaders.” Mark 7:8-9 King James Version (KJV) For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and...
