    Cults

Note: I’m not an SDA. Do you believe that a person’s salvation is dependent on which day they have church? If not, then there’s no rational reason to be upset with SDA worshipping on Saturday.

    Cults

The issue is the word "cult" itself has some many definitions as to render it useless. - From a sociological standpoint, a "cult" is simply a body of believers. Neither good or bad, or anything else. Under this definition, Jesus was 100% a cult leader. - From a pop-culture standpoint, a...

    Cults

Note: Latter-day Saints ("Mormons") believe that Jesus Christ is the divine Son of God and happily associate with other Christian groups. Example: I last visited a Methodist church on Saturday, donating some clothes to help support their ministry to the needy. There is much good in other...

    Cults

Note: zero "Mormons" are polygamous. The groups you see on "Sister Wives" and Warren Jeffs related are different churches with different scriptures, beliefs, lifestyle, etc.

That’s not accurate to what I beleive. I acknowledge your choice to continue beating the “anti-cult” drum. Have a nice day.

The Lake of Fire or Hell

Hey, actual "Mormon" here. If you are open to hearing about how I love Jesus Christ, the divine Son of God, and every word of the Bible, Yes, there is a single God, and the Father/Son/Spirit are 3 different divine persons. I'd be happy to explain it you. Zero prostylzing, just explaining...

Is there a higher walk for believers in Christ?

Generally members of the same church with the same beliefs do stay together. Pretty standard.

Is there a higher walk for believers in Christ?

Note: "Mormons" baptize in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Spirit. Those are 3 different persons, united as 1 God. -An actual "Mormon"

    Challenge to our LDS guests.

There hasn’t been much on the forum to interest me lately. The first few posts on this thread don’t show up of me, indicating that the poster is on my ignore” list. I don’t see value in responding to them.

I’m not sure what you are getting at here.

Your question about color falls into the same bin.

    Proselyting Techniques of Mormon Missionaries

Knowing someone doesn't equate to always having the best book knowledge about them. To use a real life example: my daughter was 7 before she figured out what my first name is. Does her not even knowing my name mean we didn't have a relationship for 7 years? Obviously not!

    Proselyting Techniques of Mormon Missionaries

I know that I know Christ. He is my King and Savior, the very center of my world. When some other human comes up and says "you don't know Christ" or "you follow the wrong Christ", honestly I find that such questions are prompted by ignorance or misinformation. In best scenarios, the person is...

    Proselyting Techniques of Mormon Missionaries

With my whole heart, mind, might, and soul. I'm not remotely perfect about it, but I do try to keep my entire life/being consecrated for Him, doing as He would have me do. Sometimes that's reaching out to another person for help. Sometimes having more patience with something. Sometimes just...

    Proselyting Techniques of Mormon Missionaries

Not really. LDS Christian missionaries are actually PAYING to be serving. At the local level, no one in an LDS Christian congregation gets pay for anything. For example, I was the person giving the sermon a few weeks ago.

To clarify: I did not mean to imply that you were flaming. I apologize if that was the message that came across-- such was not my intention. The comment about flaming was more directed in generic, as I've encountered so many "Christian" flamers, including on this forum. Such flaming is a...
