Keeping the Sabbath tells people Who you Worship

Because the Sabbath, which has marked the passing of a week for millennia, always falls on Saturday (it's baked into 100 languages the world over) and the nation of Israel doesn't care what day Good Friday or Easter Sunday falls on. :) .

Why its important to keep the Sabbath

He'll have you pulling your hair out, brother, if he doesn't, already. I had to put him on ignore, as much as I love him. And I virtually never do that. .

What will happen to Christians who reject the Sabbath?

@amigo de christo Puppy dog sad face is not going to work this time. You can say what you like about me, but a slanderous portrayal of a fellowship of 22 million mostly harmless souls as being, in a general sense, guilty of "RAINBOW INCLUSIVITY" is not going to get any concession from me. You...

Is Lying a Violation of the Ten Commandments? - No. - Well, maybe... ???

Speaking of knee-jerk responses, I was tempted to use a loophole I unwittingly (or perhaps subconsciously) planted by using the following wording: "So, as with MOST commandments, I see the 9th in the broadest of terms..." But I thought better of it. Because I do think of the 4th in very broad...

Keeping the Sabbath tells people Who you Worship

But you can't decide whether it's funny or sad from one thread to the next. Go figure? Maybe postmodern, "Don't judge me!" neo-New Covenant rejection and the judgment that follows is both sad and funny to the scripturally literate? So, how does one "physically work" at resting, BJ, uh, I mean...

What will happen to Christians who reject the Sabbath?

Baloney and bluster. You never admit when you're just wrong. .

What will happen to Christians who reject the Sabbath?

...unless, Reader, He didn't really mean what He said in 2 Timothy 3:16, which was written when all the Bible anyone had was the Old Testament. .

What will happen to Christians who reject the Sabbath?

And I'm sure you came to that conclusion all by your lonesome, right? Sorry, Dan (Hi, glad to see ya, btw :waves:), but that's stuff that is taught by folks who have lots of time on their hands and an anti-Sabbatarian ax to grind. Where do you think the concept of the "week" came from? The...

Why do Christians prefer their Churches segregated..

No one likes to hang around and let others walk all over them. What difference does the color of their skin make? You've demonstrated your bigotry here very well. One of your posts even disappeared because of it. You'd better repent of that stuff. Jesus does not appreciate it and judgment...

Sabbath or Sunday? What did Jesus teach & show in scripture?

Every time He used the word "Sabbath" You mean the "carnal" commands that are "spiritual, holy, just, and good" under the New Covenant or the ones that are ceremonial and were nailed to the Cross (Colossians 2) under the New Covenant? ...except when they contain the word "Sabbath" (not...

Is Lying a Violation of the Ten Commandments? - No. - Well, maybe... ???

Correct; agree, but if romanticizing the Ten Commandments is something that's disagreeable to you, my expanding on the 4th one doesn't seem like something that would be very friendly, especially in direct response to one of your posts. I will rely on you. Perhaps I just need to get my boxes...

Is Lying a Violation of the Ten Commandments? - No. - Well, maybe... ???

Well, for starters, see this post from Big Troll's glaringly disingenuous thread: "Questions for Sabbatarians." :) .

Is Lying a Violation of the Ten Commandments? - No. - Well, maybe... ???

Well, no offense taken, of course, but it kinda makes replying to your post asking about how I see the 4th commandment expansively seem pointless. .

What will happen to Christians who reject the Sabbath?

Yes, let's do so, by all means. How could anyone make such a an incredibly ignorant remark? Because the hatred they've cultivated and/or beheld too long for the Sabbath and an obsession with anti-ecumenism has blinded them—that's why. So, by "RAINBOW INCLUSIVITY" in the Seventh-day Adventist...

Is Sunday sacredness in the Bible?

@BlessedPeace Did a little digging. It's not clever AT ALL. .

Is Sunday sacredness in the Bible?

Well, I know you have a tendency to think yourself able to sum people up instantly from the long association I believe I've had with you, BBJ, uh, I mean BJ. ;) .

Is Sunday sacredness in the Bible?

If we're right, it's not very cleverly done, is it? .

Is Sunday sacredness in the Bible?

I thought it just might be a sock puppet account belonging to someone I really enjoy chatting with. ;) Not absolutely sure, though. .

Sabbath or Sunday? What did Jesus teach & show in scripture?

The old covenant never made anyone righteous. Hebrews 11 talks all about it. Gen 15:3-6 KJV And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir. And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that...
