Who Is The Antichrist? A Biblical Prespective.

Is this an antichrist? “All the names which in the Scripture are applied to Christ, by virtue of which it is established that He is over the church, all the same names are applied to the Pope.” Robert Cardinal Bellarmine, De Conciliorum Auctoriatate (On the Authority of the Councils) Bk 2...

Born again believers are NOT appointed to God's wrath ( the great tribulation )

See post 282. Do you think that the Acts, Isaiah, and Ezekiel references are Revelation seals?

Born again believers are NOT appointed to God's wrath ( the great tribulation )

No pretending involved. The great tribulation of Matthew 24 occurred in 70 AD, as the overwhelming evidence confirms. Let's first address verse 29, which I've done in post 282. Agreed?

It seems you've ignored posts 173, 199, and 200, all evidences of Scriptural historical fulfillments. Visit 'em. There are no seals in the Olivet discourse, and no Olivet discourse in your seals.

Born again believers are NOT appointed to God's wrath ( the great tribulation )

Matthew 24:15-16 is a continuation of Jesus' answer to the disciples' question "when shall these things be", "these things" being the destruction of the temple. The abomination of desolation was the Roman armies (Luke 21:20) who destroyed the temple in 70 AD, not in an indeterminate future...

Born again believers are NOT appointed to God's wrath ( the great tribulation )

Matthew 24 21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. Apr. 14-Sept. 8 70 CE Matthew 24 36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Born again believers are NOT appointed to God's wrath ( the great tribulation )

While the Judaean Christians were certainly spiritual, their flight was indisputably physical. The AOD was the Roman armies (Luke 21:20). It had no connection with 2 Thessalonians 2:4 and the 42 month reign of the beast.

Born again believers are NOT appointed to God's wrath ( the great tribulation )

Matthew 24:15-21 supports that. The flight of the Judaean Christians confirms it.

I've answered your previous question. Before we proceed, how about you answer post 244. Deal?

Born again believers are NOT appointed to God's wrath ( the great tribulation )

I see no "day of the Lord" expression in the Olivet discourse.

Luke 21 20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. 21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. Sign...

Yes, history hasn't happened. Dispenonsense on parade.

2 Corinthians 11 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Without testing, how would you recognize whether or not it was Satan?

Born again believers are NOT appointed to God's wrath ( the great tribulation )

It is certainly true that there are ageless and spiritual applicabilities of Scripture throughout the span of God's dealings with humanity. The invalidities arise when Scriptural historical confirmations and fulfillments are denied and attempted to be replaced by futurized fantasies and...

Born again believers are NOT appointed to God's wrath ( the great tribulation )

Do you think that Matthew 24 is grammatically incorrect? You apparently do if you think that "you" can morph from the disciples, to not the disciples.

Born again believers are NOT appointed to God's wrath ( the great tribulation )

The "you" were Jesus' disciples, and His predictions in verse 9 were fulfilled as described in the Book of Acts.

Born again believers are NOT appointed to God's wrath ( the great tribulation )

WARS AND RUMORS OF WARS We are told that when Jesus gave this prophecy, the Roman Empire was experiencing a general peace within its borders. But Jesus explained to his disciples that they would be hearing of wars, rumors of wars, and commotions. And did they? Yes, within a short time the...

Born again believers are NOT appointed to God's wrath ( the great tribulation )

FAMINES, PESTILENCES, EARTHQUAKES The Bible records that there was famine “throughout all the world. . . in the days of Claudius Caesar” (Acts 11:28). Judea was especially hard hit by famine. “The disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief unto the brethern which...

Born again believers are NOT appointed to God's wrath ( the great tribulation )

What did the disciples do between verses 3 and 8? Did Jesus tell them to go for coffee while He talked to Himself?
