Can One Be Christian and Not Believe In The Trinity?

I'm Protestant but know Catholic theology. Exactly my point ! Agreed 100% I live in one of those countries. And, yes, most ...I'd say the vast majority...of Catholics are improperly catechized (or not at all). They do NOT understand their faith system/theology. Agreed. I always agree with...

Can One Be Christian and Not Believe In The Trinity?

Catholics are free to believe their conscience on some matters,,,but not any regarding doctrine. For instance...a person can believe what they wish as to where/how/who Caine married. There is no specific teaching/doctrine. Ditto for evolution...as long as God had a part in it. But core...

Can One Be Christian and Not Believe In The Trinity?

Protestantism is in trouble because it's always splintering. It's not unified. There is not an exact understanding of what it believes/means. For instance, if I say I'm Catholic,,, you'll know what I believe. If I say I'm Protestant... I'll have to expound and state what I believe. This is...

Elon Musk tells the UK, “Whether you choose violence or not, violence is coming to you. You either fight back or you die, that’s the truth, I think.”

True. And how is a person vetted that is carrying no ID? And if we want to send them back to thier country.... to which country do we send them? Stopping the flow would be easier and better. Stopped at the source, if possible (maybe not) or stopped at the 200 mile limit of international waters...

Can One Be Christian and Not Believe In The Trinity?

Have to agree. Those that do not believe that Jesus is God are totally OUT of the Christian paradigm. Thanks!

Can One Be Christian and Not Believe In The Trinity?

Indeed. As heretics do. Because they refuse to be taught by those that the Apostles taught. As if the Apostles would pass on wrong teachings that Jesus died for. But I hearsay that those that the Apostles taught are not inspired. As if the ones from whom heresy is learned ARE inspired !! So...

Can One Be Christian and Not Believe In The Trinity?

I'm copying the following from your book.... But WHY would anyone ever want to actually learn what Christianity teaches??!! Better to just make up the Christian religion as we go along..... Thanks for your book, BTW.... CHAPTER 5 (page 69) The Son, the Son of God, the Son of Man...

Can One Be Christian and Not Believe In The Trinity?

Could you please explain what you mean by PROTESTANT? You made 3 categories: Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant. But within the Protestant community are those that believe that Jesus is not God and thus do not believe in the Trinity. So is Protestant a particular denominaion in your...

Elon Musk tells the UK, “Whether you choose violence or not, violence is coming to you. You either fight back or you die, that’s the truth, I think.”

Italy is trying with this Prime Minister (Ms. Meloni) but she gets too much pushback from the left. Italy began sending immigrants to a country that doesn't come to mind right now...for vetting. It has to be stopped! Seems this was considered abuse by the left and we have a coalition govt here...

Can One Be Christian and Not Believe In The Trinity?

The above is obvious just judging from some of the responses you've received. Yes. Some do not understand what they must believe to be defined as Christian and yet continue in their rantings as if THEY have the authority to change the Christian Religion. (I say RELIGION). I'm sorry to say...

UK government: too many white people, pledges to make rural areas diverse

The Muslims that do NOT follow their religion are OK and assimilate. The ones that do hate the civilized world and try to change it. Countries don't like their culture to be changed.

Know all about NYC. Where I grew up. Brother still lives there. He's waiting to move but he's waiting too long. Retirement..about 2 years left.

UK government: too many white people, pledges to make rural areas diverse

Yes. We're getting the same information here. Seems all of Europe is tending toward the right because the left has ruined the great life/culture that once existed in the different countries. The EU is supposed to be modeled after the US, except that the US FOUGHT for it's unification....Europe...

UK government: too many white people, pledges to make rural areas diverse

Deb, what is happening would not have been believed just, maybe, 15 short years ago. When a govt pays no heed to its population... Isn't that authoritarianism??

UK government: too many white people, pledges to make rural areas diverse

Yes. It's complicated. A society cannot be constructed, as the new world order is attempting to do. Trump understands this and is attempting to stop the damage - maybe reverse it (?),,, but he's one of too few in this attempt.

False Christs, False Prophets and False Teachers. These are the days we live in.

I've had to get off my own thread due to the extreme statements made by so called Christains. The frustration has become too much. I do want to disagree with you on one statement you've made. The early chuch preserved what the Apostles taugth and passed on what they taught. I guess we'd have to...

UK government: too many white people, pledges to make rural areas diverse

Many moons ago, my brother and I had this conversation. He was a liberal of the left back then and though that man must learn to live with others of different cultures because we're all human. I tried to explain to him how culture affects everything a person does and how they understand all of...

2 of 2 Actually, Augustine DID change basic Christian doctrine. FREE WILL BAPTISM OF INFANTS How long would you like this post to be? Seemed that you did,,,but no matter. I think you know that I'm a girl. Agreed. Augustine changed infant baptism too. Agreed. The church....the original...

False Christs, False Prophets and False Teachers. These are the days we live in.

I was making the point that there was Christian theology BEFORE Augustine regarding the will of man and it was accepted that man's will is free. Ezekiel is speaking about the New Covenant. Our heart of stone will be turned into a heart of flesh. This does NOT mean that we lose our free will. We...

False Christs, False Prophets and False Teachers. These are the days we live in.

2 of 2 Pelagius denied the Holy Spirit's work/function. We cannot go from one extreme to the other. You believe in libertarian free will? If you say that we do what we WANT to do,,, and God changed our heart... Then you're explaining compatibalist free will... quite a big difference. Are...
