    The salvation journey.

So to recap.. 1) we're called by the Father. 2) We respond by a turning from our way to the direction of the caller in our minds. (repentant act) 3) We then take our first step of Faith or pisteuo towards God by making a genuine surrendering of our lives o Him, living a life inspired by such...

    The salvation journey.

Sure is a little vague. Do you have any questions or want to discuss a specific happening, or timing of the specific happening? If "sure' is your response and are in agreement, why do you agree with it?

    The salvation journey.

Well I'm pleasantly surprised that were still in agreement at this point in the journey. This is ussually where I loose people. This is the point in the process where most called out ones stand on the 'believe and recieve' doctrine. It takes a lot to disassemble that mistranslation and it never...

    The salvation journey.

Okay. So we've made a repentant turn towards the caller or the Father. No Spirit of Christ yet so His Word and promises are not ours yet either. We'll call the next step 6, or what is the initial or first act of Faith is. The Father calls, we turn towards the caller, "we then take or first...

    The salvation journey.

I think we agree close enough on step one, two, three and four to look at the next happening. But first we need to agree that at the 4th step or repentance, we do not have the Spirit of Christ yet. If we agree on that, Christ is none of ours at that point. This also means His word and the...

    The salvation journey.

Thanks for acknowledging my intent. I'm really just looking for an honest discussion about this important subject. Although i agree with your understanding concerning "the soul", I'm trying to focus on what "our" response, "our" responsibility, to what's mandated in Gods word to recieve His...

    The salvation journey.

Great taken, we're in agreement so far. The next step I would present to you, lets call it step 5. 5) As the result of the Father calling us out, we turn from our way to the direction of the caller in our minds. This is an act of repentance in its simplest terms. A lot has been attached to what...

    The salvation journey.

No disagreement with this. But not really the perspective of this discussion.

    Okay Michael, another day.

    The salvation journey.

Hi Scott, This where the salvation journey or process begins. 1) We're born into this world. (obvious) 2) we are not born with the Spirit of Christ. (obvious) 3) Nobody comes to Christ unless the Father calls them. So the first real step or thing that must happen in the salvation process is we...

    The salvation journey.

At the start of the Salvation journey, were not "born again yet". So far in this discussion, we've been born, called by the Father, repented by a simple turning from our way to the direction of the caller. No act of Faith has been discussed yet. try not to jump ahead.

    The salvation journey.

Hi BB, I think the working of the Holy Spirit at step 4 is external, not internal yet. Huge difference to being His or not right?

    The salvation journey.

We haven't talked about the first act of Faith yet. Only that at that point in the process, we don't have the Spirit of Christ in us yet. So as the result of that state of being, at that point in the process, Christ is none of ours yet. Again , kind of an obvious statement. What I've highlighted...

What specific part are your questioning?

Do you agree with post 82 ? If you need to think about it, take your time.

    The salvation journey.

You've misunderstood what i was trying to point out. Simply, the work Jesus did on Calvary bought everyone (the entire field). That work on Calvary put all of mankind under Grace, Salvation for some , judgement for others.

    The salvation journey.

I can agree with your understandings, but at this 5th step in the process we are not sealed with His Spirit yet. So what that means is because we don't have the Spirit of Christ yet, He is none of ours yet either. With Christ not being our yet, His word is not ours, His promises in His word are...

    The salvation journey.

Good day Michael, here is where we left off. Salvation journey step by step. 1) We're born into this world. (obvious) 2) we are not born with the Spirit of Christ. (obvious) 3) Nobody comes to Christ unless the Father calls them. So the first real step or thing that must happen in the salvation...

    The salvation journey.

Ya, someone calls your name from across a crowded room, you just automatically would turn to the direction of the caller. The Holy Spirits conviction definitely plays apart in that calling by the Father. If it's okay with you, can we take up the next step or happening tomorrow? This next step...
