Not sure what you mean. The Resurrection itself wouldn't.

Where dies today they are burned alive? Again, look at post 127. Jeremiah prophesied that Gehenna would be made Holy to the Lord. It won't burn forever.

Can you make an argument or do you just proof text all the time? I've already shone that aion doesnt mean forever.

Have you ever considered how the doctrine of eternal torment reflects on God's character? The Bible says that God is love and the He takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked. That being the case, how do justify saying He will keep people alive for the sole purpose of torturing them?

I think you're missimg the point. The Lake of Fire doesn't burn for eternity. Look at post 127 where I posted the prophecy from Jeremiah. He said one day it will be made Holy to the Lord.

Yes, I'm professing annihilationism. That's the only thing I see in the Scriptures. It's plainly stated. God said through Ezekiel, 'the soul that sins shall die'. Paul too, said, 'the wages of sin is death'. Jesus gave two options, eternal life or perish. The only thing I see that one can use...

I can't judge him, that's God's place. But, no one will be in the Lake of Fire for eternity

No, Hitler is in the grave. He will remain there until the Resurrection at which time he will be judged. "His" spirit is the breath of God. There is no spirit that is man. Read Gen 2:7. You'll see that the breath or spirit in man is the breath or spirit of life from God. That's the only spirit...

    Hell Fire

When you say "our" spirit, what do you mean? I don't believe there is a spirit that is man. The spirit in us is the breath or spirit of God. It's something of God not man. There is eternal salvation. There is no eternal damnation as in a conscious being suffering torment. The Lake of Fire is...

    Hell Fire

If you go back and look at my posts on aion and research what I said you'll see that aion cannot mean forever. That's a mistranslation. Besides, this passage only speaks of the devil, the false prophet, and the beast. It says nothing of anyone else. It appears you're parroting what you've been...

I don't have a problem understand doing the second death?

    Hell Fire

There's no such thing as spiritual death.

Yes, it uses real life people because Jesus is addressing real people. Remember Jesus said that the Jews would see people coming from the east and west and sitting with Abraham. Jesus was addressing the Pharisees with this parable. The reason he mentions Abraham's bosom is because the Jews, as...

    Hell Fire

I believe in eternal salvation. However, the Bible is pretty clear that the dead are dead. I don't believe they will be tormented forever. The whole concept of Hades being the realm of the living dead is a Greek philosophical one, not a Biblical one. As more and more Gentiles, primarily with...

    Hell Fire

Yes, but it's not what people today call Hell. Today Hell is a place of eternal conscious torment. In he Scriptures Hell is the grave

    Hell Fire

No, it's not Biblical. The parable of Lazarus and the Rich Man is not about life after death. It's an illustration of something else. This is the last in a series of parables Jesus gave. I'll post later on the meaning of the parable, I don't have time at the moment. I would ask you though, why...

    Hell Fire

It seems to me this is an opinion. It seem like a logical contradiction. The definition if death is, without life. How could one be dead, yet alive?
