Like I touched on in an earlier post. Scripture tells us if we have the Spirit of Christ, we also have the Mind of Christ. A really gifted teacher can point out the examples of what happens when the Spirit of Christ is given to someone. But there is no evidence of what happens and what it feels...

Are you saying having the scriptures available to someone is a requirement for having the mind of Christ?

For me the relationship with Christ is my guide, by true faithing. Scripture reflects His work in us, like a mirror.

That's been agreed upon and established. What's missing is personal understandings of what happens and what it's like to have the mind of Christ. Without parroting scripture.

The mind of Christ is simple, that's for sure. But common definitely not.

Question for you Not Me. Your line where you say ,"a life turned over to God." I love that by the way! Most people don't see their relationship with Christ that way, why do you?

I also see God's Word not as a book of dodo this and don't do that, but a mirror that will reflect our surrendered life. Nothing perfect, but never the less, here and there. Not sure where I would categorize that piece of the life of faithing.

Have you ever wondered about the scripture where Christ tells us to pray without ceasing? It makes no sense before the mind of Christ. Makes perfect sense after.

I was taught that when we receive the Spirit of Christ, to not feel it, would be like sitting on a stick of dynamite, lighting the fuse, and singing we shall not be moved. We are going to be moved and we'll know it! Same with the mind of Christ.
