    Please explain this.

Why did you stop at verse 6? Verse 6 says that David is about to describe the man Paul is talking about. Vs 7&8 tell us that the man whom God imputes righteousness without works is the man whose sins are forgiven. How does that happen today under the new covenant? Through baptism. Mk 16:16...

    Please explain this.

I read everyone of those passages and NOT ONCE did I ever see the word ALONE. I know you wouldn’t mind if I added words to your post that weren’t there. You wouldn’t care at all. I know everybody goes crazy and says.....”I didn’t say that”...”don’t put words into my mouth”. But you? You must...

    Please explain this.

All I read here is that we are justified or made righteous by faith ALONE. Show me one passage that states we are saved by faith alone. First, you say Abraham left UR “before he was justified by faith alone”. You are teaching us that Abraham was not saved until Gen 15:6? You got to be kidding...

Can one be saved while they are all alone?

how ironic. Everybody on here has argued that there own way of salvation is acceptable to God even though it can’t be found in Gods word.

Can one be saved while they are all alone?

No the Bible is. I’m quoting what the Bible has to say about salvation through the gospel. When I ask others to support their doctrine through scripture they get mad and start talking bad about me..it’s as if they have never been asked to do so in their life, so how dare I ask for Bible...

Can one be saved while they are all alone?

Sorry I don’t understand what you said. All I know is Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

    The GREAT commission

Prove it! Prove it! I’m looking for scripture. Where is it? Is it embedded somewhere up there? Prove it! Where’s the Bible that says what you just said. If you can’t provide then move on.. Prove it! Where does the NT say....there are many things for us “beyond the words”. Give me an...

Can one be saved while they are all alone?

That’s just it Nancy....the only way you know what God thinks of “your salvation” is through book chapter and verse, and you cant give it to me. There is no other way today. That should trouble you. I just don’t understand. Why do people think they can make claims to spiritual things but...

Can one be saved while they are all alone?

Is this the HS bearing witness? Because this is not what the HS said. This is 100% a doctrine of man. Where is the scripture you use to make such a claim? Let’s here what the HS said to back up your claim.

    Subtracting Works

Most people appeal to Eph 2:8,9 which you mention above. Titus 3:5 is a parallel verse with Eph. They teach the same thing by the same writer but give a little different info. If you include Titus 3:5 with Eph 2: 8,9 you can know what “works” he has in mind.. Titus 3:5 explains what kind of...

Can one be saved while they are all alone?

You said your sins were washed away. When did that happen?

Can one be saved while they are all alone?

What does Rom 8:16 say.. The Spirit bears witness with our Spirit that we are children of God. HOW does he do that? He does not do it through emotion. “I felt the Spirit so therefore I know he’s here”. That NEVER happened in the NT. All those who had any encounter with the Spirit received...

Can one be saved while they are all alone?

I don’t know why a few people keep posting about not being alone because God or Jesus was with them. I actually thought people would understand what I meant by the word alone. I ONLY had humanity not deity in mind. I thought this should have been pretty clear. The only thing I can come up...

Can one be saved while they are all alone?

You just quoted acts 2:39 which is a totally different promise then acts 1. In acts 2:38 the previous verse to the one you just quoted PROMISED forgiveness of sins if they would repent and be baptized. This is the “promise” of verse 29. This is the promise that is available to Jews and...

    The GREAT commission

Yes you are right. But I’m welcome to read and study other passages that people submit that believe upholds their doctrine. Only through diligent comparison can you come to the truth. Truth does not contradict itself. But that is what you usually find....contradiction. That’s why I want to...

    The GREAT commission

I get what you are saying, but I want to focus on this one thing you said above. Was this not the teaching of both Christ and Paul....that we should ALL have the same mind. John 17:20-21 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all...

    The GREAT commission

What is the meaning of what? Being obedient to the great commission? It’s elementary. If you want to be saved you MUST hear the gospel, believe the gospel which teaches one MUST repent and be baptized in water for the remission of sins. No more difficult than that.

    Please explain this.

Were the Ephesians baptized twice? Yes or no? This is a parallel passage with Eph 2:8,9. This passage explains what kind of “works” are under consideration. It is works of righteousness that we have done. Our own righteousness. Good deeds. Giving to charity, being kind to our neighbor...

Chapter and verse??? I give you a whole verse by verse breakdown and explanation and your asking me for “chapter and verse”.

Can one be saved while they are all alone?

The key words here are....”I don’t debate MY faith”. The Bible talks of a COMMON faith. That’s the problem today, everybody has their own way of doing it. When Jude wrote to Christians he said... Jude 1:3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was...
